Wow is too easy?

Okay, is anything not enjoying the fact that wow is now far to easy?
I can live with heirlooms making lvling far quicker because lvling can get quite boring at times.
But i don't like how easy it is to gear up these days. With all this really strong badge gear that can be obtained by anyone there is hardly a challenge anymore? I wish wow would make it more difficult to gather better rather than the way it currently is?
Any thoughts?

This topic already exists.... in fact, this is probably number 50 lol.

This has been discussed 1000s of times, in a nutshell:
WoW is "easier" than before to gear up so new players and players that have taken breaks can get back into raiding quickly.#
Or you have to start at the bottom again which can put new and old players off playing altogether.

If wow is too easy for you, go learn phonics, its probably going to be about 10 times tougher for you.

I am going to leave this thread open, but I can't see anything good coming from it. It's been said many times - less time consuming doesn't necessarily mean easier.
Of course, if you have other arguments why WoW has become easier, do share them.

You could always go and play a real MMO like Everquest. THAT was hardmode all the way. None of this questing, and noob armor and heirlooms. Back in the day you were given a ragged shirt, a stick, and a "go get em, tiger!" from your class trainer and off you went, to slaughter wolves... if you were man/woman enough.
The top content in the game was only ever seen by maybe 1 or 2% of the top players until the game progressed and new levels/armor made older content slightly easier (slightly).
Players in the top armor would draw crowds of people, all of them drooling.

Bad game design and difficulty are two different things.
Although having never played EQ i'm sure it was difficult as you say, and i'm sure it rewarded those that put in the hard hours of grinding to max themselves in areas.

Anyone remember eight or more hours of either:
A. Andy>Countess>Meph>Kilthalikk>Baal for MF.
B. Three hours or more per level running Baal from levels 85-99
