I am going to reach 80 this week and I really enjoy dungeons and being the tank in the group and it seems like most of the things listed in the stickies to get is either too expensive or not a big enough upgrade to warrant the price. I have about 150 truimph emblems from daily dungeons what should i spend them on?
Also I basically just run dungeons should I just gear up with drops or spend the money now to get things i can use.
Wow, 150 Triumph before even hitting 80. That's quite the head start. Isn't that like over two months of doing non-80 dailies? Weird.
Honestly, this is almost like a shopping spree. "Here's 150 bucks, now what would you buy?"
Okay, so if I just dinged 80 and had a 150 emblems to spend, the first thing I would do is get a helm for the meta socket. So I'd pick up
Faceplate
for 75 emblems. After that I'd probably do Tier 9 Shoulders and Gloves, Chest and Shoulders, or Chest and Gloves. Some combination of those three. Chest+Shoulder/Glove would be 80 emblems, Shoulders and Gloves together would be 60 emblems. You get nicely itemized pieces and pick up the two-piece bonus for good threat boost.
While you are still 79, or as soon as you hit 80, I'd suggest queuing for regular HoL until you get the Seal of the Pantheon trinket and/or the tanking weapon.
That would be my suggestion. Burn up those badges on 232 and 245 items, try and get those regular HoL items, and then just run heroics to gear up. Enchant your gear so that you are uncrittable and you should be able to run them. At that point focus on places you can use the drops (CoS for the Shield, AN for Belt and Trinket, VH for Legs, UP for Red Sword, Old Kingdom for Bracers) and otherwise just amass emblems for vendor gear. Queuing specifically for regular ToC5-man wouldn't be a bad idea either; there's neck, shoulders, and helm out of there, as well as the coveted Black Heart trinket.

If I were you I would aim for the following:
http://www.wowhead.com/?profile=20772473
From emblems, pickup the T9 set Helm, Shoulders, and Chest. ~130 emblems.
Get the Titansteel Shield Wall crafted, sorta cheap.
Run REGULAR ToC and FoS for the following drops:
Reg ToC: Gloves, Belt, Legs, and Trinket
Reg FoS: Tanking Weap, Boots, and possibly better legs.
Since you have about 116, you're on your way. Get the Helm and Shoulders first and work on Argent Crusade and Sons of Hodir faction (or get the pvp shoulder enchant). Those are the best pieces since you can get the meta gem, and good enchants, etc. Tanking will mean instant queues and allow you to farm emblems pretty darn quickly. My friend farms up to 30 a night just queuing up for random heroics.
What you want to decide is what to do with your Frost emblems. A lot of people save for the T10 stuff. As a tank, the Key trinket looks pretty promising. That combined with the Black Heart from reg ToC should give you a good health boost. Once you hit 535 defense, you can farm all the heroics you will ever want.
With that profile I made, I didn't even touch your neck, cloak, bracers, rings x 2, or ranged weapon. Even so you're at 542 defense (raid ready) and 31k health unbuffed. You should be able to find upgrades for those missing slots along the way.

the 245 helm that porcell linked is such an awesome piece, it's hard to argue against it. in fact, i think it's what i spend my first triumph badges on.
now you have just over 40 left. so many choices, but i might go straight for the ring. that would give you 2 pieces that you won't replace for a loooooooong time (i still am using both), but shoulders are also a valid choice.
the thrown weapon or gloves would be next - both are fairly cheap.
and you really need to farm some instances (HoL/ToC - both on regular) for trinkets ;)
ask around for guildies or someone who wants to sell you some 213 badge bracers (remember, they are BoE and many people are swimming in old badges).
as far as crafted gear, keep an eye out on the AH for cheap gear from people leveling BS - the shield is a nice choice if you're unlucky or not ready for CoS heroic. the only problem being titansteel is still expensive, especially with the new crafted stuff in high demand.
the JC ring is also pretty good and should last for a bit.

The 75 emblem helm is pretty good, as my warrior buddy picked that up first. My caution was that he could have gotten other pieces as he was putting together a set of gear. Nothing more sad than a tank in all blues and a BiS tanking helm.
It depends on how far you plan to get, and if you plan to raid. Farming heroics get you to a certain level of gear. If you have plans to run ToC or even ICC with a guild, you might want to take those aspects into consideration. If you don't plan on raiding, here's a decent list of BiS tanking gear for warriors that you should plan out.
BiS non raiding tank gear
