Filter out comments from previous versions?

i have a lot of respect for the wowhead devs, and i'm sure this idea has been considered and rejected as impractical or simply not humane to the wild monkeys, but...
could we have a feature on our settings page that makes it possible to filter out all comments made during previous versions of WoW? i'm pretty sure i'm not the only one who gets tired of reading no-longer valid comments, particularly +415 comments about items whose mechanics were changed by patch 2.0.
in some cases, this may result in repetitive posts. however, newer information should be more relevant and useful anyway. it also may result in some confusion when i see recent replies to filtered-out comments. but this happens anyway in the cases where the original comment has been deleted, purged, or successfully downrated. this feature would not change my responsibilities as an occasionally-intelligent reader.
thanks for your time and effort on the site! you've made "lrn2wowhead!" a useful response to a bajillion questions.

In the meantime, please report such outdated comments and we will review them.

There's actually a function for this directly on the page. At the top of the comments tab, just use the little dropdown box that says "Filter comments by patch".
The dropdown removes comments older than the selected patch. For example, selecting "3.0.0" will show you comments posted after Wrath of the Lich King was released.
