Exactly what are macros, where do I access them, what are they used for and how?
Macros are small snippits of code that allow you to do a combination of things. You can access them from the system menu. WoWWiki contains some
useful macros and
documentation. They are similar to addons but do much simpler tasks.

I've figured out most of the things on WoW and haven't made too many huge stuff ups, but not everything can just be figured out by experimentation and "what result am I going to get by clicking on this?", and sometimes I do need to ask someone.
Two things I'd like to know are...
Exactly what are macros, where do I access them, what are they used for and how?
What is it exactly that causes a warrior to pull so much agro and keep it? I've created various toons of different classes so I can learn how each one works, and so far, most of them I can get away with making a mistake as they largely back up the others in a group as opposed to the group relying heavily on them for something. I don't want to be taking a warrior into an instance to tank when I can't be sure I'll be able to pull and keep the agro off the other party members.
If I've posted this in an inappropriate section I apologise.
A good stop would be to the
warrior forums, to the
sticky posts there for a full understanding of warriors.
Threat is when you attack monsters, and generally whoever is doing the most damage takes aggro. The exception to this are tanks, who have talents and
abilities to make monsters attack them and keep attacking them.
Note: The ability linked is a paladin ability.
