Generally Quick Decay will be better but if you can successfully manage your cooldowns and with some luck you can pop Meta every time it's up under near-optimum buffs and make the most of the time it's up then Glyph of Meta is quite good.

With the meta glyph, you can get a second immo aura off (but only a few seconds of it). However, most fights require movement, and you can rarely use the glyph to the fullest.
Besides, GoQD (decay, not death hashmel :p) gives faster corr ticks = more chances of an MC proc. So I see it as win-win.

1) When I pop meta, my action bars dont change. Im using bartender 4. I also have Necrosis which will show the bubbles for the various meta spells. Anyone have a way around this?
Put the spells on your action bar, they're in your spell book
2) When you are in demon form...should you just cast as normal with immolation aura up? I was reading that your melee dmg is comparable too however the weapon equipped and your skill do make a difference?
Get to close range, immo aura and cast as normal. be sure to go back to ranged afterwards though, and not stay in melee range the whole fight :p (exception being rotface etc.)
3) Besides Immo Aura, are any other spells useful when not tanking?
Charge for getting in close range faster.
4) Is it true that for raid purposes stacking spirit is more useful than SP?
Spirit gives SP, but not to the point that it gives more SP than SP itself. Should be fairly obvious really.
Edit: 5 secs faster than asakawa woooooo! (even though his info is better -_-)

1) you don't want it to. you only use IA. just drag IA from your spellbook onto your bars or use a macro to pop meta then IA
i use:
#showtooltip metamorphosis
/cast Immolation Aura(Demon)
/cast Metamorphosis
2) normal rotation. certainly no melee and no cleave.
3) no. charge is good for getting into range for IA but you don't want to use it. you want to run in before popping meta so you don't waste time
in
meta.
4) no.
edit: hehe, beaten to it ^_^

the extra spirit is more about the fact that spirit's contribution to rDPS via DP is more important than stats like crit and haste. the lower SP is accounted for by things that aren't modelled by wowhead's profiler like fel armour, life tap and muradin's trinket proc.
BiS lists/profiles like that are a very bad way to gain info about choices
you
should be making.

I was looking at this macro askance for a bit, thinking you got your cast-order mixed up. Am I to understand that you use the same key, pressed twice, to go into meta and then use IA?

that's it yes.
you could achieve something similar with a cast sequence macro but, while they are (of course) evil, even when they have a good reason to exist like this they always act clunky and unreliable.
press it and get meta. press it
in
meta and get IA.

it's a buff on you and works for the durations irrespective of your target.

mmm. Demo. I was Demo all the way from the start up to about 65. My personal favourite way for killing mobs as a demo is:
Cast meta > Cast Immo Aura > Use Sacrifice > Cast Hellfire.
Had the awsomest screenshot of my toon doing this. Unfortunately a virus I got ment I had to send the whole comp back to factory. However it was nice seeing almost the entire screen just covered with numbers. hehe.

if you are demo why on earth are you using a voidwalker =|

Because (and this did work when I tried it) Sacrifice prevented hellfire damaging me. Personally I considered that worth it.

Not really... The DPS your felguard provides far outweighs Hellfire. Besides, if you absolutely must use the voidwalker (and sacrifice) you would be better off casting Rain of Fire or Seed of Corruption than hellfire... They do more damage and don't backlash.
Thats not to say that Meta+Immo Aura+Hellfire doesn't look badass =P

The only reason I say use Sacrifice is becuase of Hellfire. If I was going to use RoF or Seed then Sacrifice is unneccessary and I would most definitely use Felguard.

Absolutely. But really the damage done by having Immo Aura and Hellfire going at the same time is a thing of beauty.
