I'm so lost after a 6 months absence

I stopped for schooling reasons and now that I somewhat have free time again, I reactivated my account to find myself so far behind from everyone else to the point where I have no idea how or where to catch up.

Here's my armory, please give me any tips/advice on how/where to start so I can catch up. Thank you!

- remember dont stack haste beyond 11% too much. You can easily do this really.

This is no longer a set in stone rule. Much of ICC requires more casting, so haste has become much more valuable.

Heroics, heroics, heroics...need I say anything else? Keep in mind that the regular modes on ICC dungeons offer 219 epics and triumph emblems as well.

This dropped for me today, Battered Hilt. I did a bit of research and the mace at the end of the quest looks pretty sweet, but is it worth it? or should I sell it and make 10k off the bat and wait for a better one to come along. When would this mace be replaced?

well, running the "find the upgrade" option in the wowhead profiler on my disc priest who miraculously got a hilt in the first week of 3.3, it says the first ONE hand upgrade is Trauma(rotface 25N), obviuosly the proc is a bit hard to qualify, and so moving on from that you then have....staves, which unfortunately the program wont filter out if they arent better than the one hand +best possible off hand, and so I am just going to ignore all staves atm, and look at them if they drop.... which leaves...nothing

to find a one had upgrade you basically have to either go back to doing HEROIC TOGC or Down the lich king and then do some of the ICC bosses on hardmode.

all in all, if the mace is any kind of upgrade or you DONT have rotface on farm (*cough* like anybody does)then get it.

Same here, when I started healing again I still was wearing some blue items and stuff from TBC Hyjal. It took me a week to get on par with my endgame geared mage.
