Hi guys/girls,
I'm looking at starting some WoW activity, in which I will need to have multiple text-heavy macro's filling my UI.
My understanding is that I can use 'modifier:shift' to assist me, but I have not been successful in getting it to work.
I am wanting to have a macro give text information, and when I shift click the macro button, to give more information.
Example:
/p The Darkspear Trolls are jungle trolls, originating in Stranglethorn Vale.
**Shift-Click**
/p As tribal rivalries erupted throughout the former Gurubashi Empire, the Darkspear tribe found themselves driven from their homeland in Stranglethorn Vale.
Any help would be much appreciated.
**Edit**
May I add that I am using a Macbook!
I have been able to use a /cast macro with the shift modifier, but it doesnt work with /s, /p, /g etc

So, you want to say the first part with no shift, then BOTH parts with shift? If that's true, this is easy.
/p The Darkspear Trolls are jungle trolls, originating in Stranglethorn Vale.
/stopmacro
/p As tribal rivalries erupted throughout the former Gurubashi Empire, the Darkspear tribe found themselves driven from their homeland in Stranglethorn Vale.
If you want it to not show the first part, that's a bit more difficult.
