Lvl 80 gear

Hello , i`m lvl-ing a priest , i will go with holy at 80 and off spec as disc , but i dont know what gear to make when i will hit 80. I have tailoring on him and i will provide cursader orb and others from my main.
I`m thinking of :
1. Merlin`s + Bejeweled + Spellslinger`s + Cord of the White Dawn
2. Moonshroud Robe + Moonshroud Bracers + Savior's Slippers + Cord of the White Dawn

I`m thinking socketing like this: blue / yellow / red
From what i read about holy priest haste > spirit , but the question is : will i have enough mana regen ?
If you have other opinions about the gear i will appreciate.

It depends on what other gear you'll have at that point...

Probably just the items that i can take from quest or normal dungeon , and maybe 1-2 from triumph , the point is that i cant make bouth 1 and 2 , are a little expensive so if i will chose one from that what will be better ? i`m in for the 1 "set" but i dont know if i will have low mana regen and run oom very fast.

Well, with a IED, Spark of Hope and Tears of the Vainquished, for example, you shouldn't have any regen issues, with either "sets", while if you use a throughput meta and trinkets, you could have issues, which is why I was saying it really depends on your other gear. Trinkets and gems are great for "making up" for any stat you'd lack of. If you lack regen, get regen trinket and gems, if you lack throughput, get throughput trinket and gems, etc...

I'd personally recommend your first "set" too, but I can't tell how you will do with mana with only those 4 pieces...

Ok , thank you very much. I will make probably the first and see how i`m doing , and i will try to gem and get trinket to help me with mana regen/poll.
