Lag and Graphics card

Sorry about the vague title, I have two issues I'd like you guys to give me some tips on.
I'll keep this short, firstly:
Is using two graphics cards more effective/cheaper than buying one? I'm looking for a graphics card(s) to run WoW on full settings in dalaran with at least 40 FPS, I am wondering what would be cheaper.
"Dual Wielding" two cheap cards, or getting a single card?
Secondly, I use addons, I noticed logging in/out is a lot faster when they're all disabled, I have 4GB RAM and running windows XP 32 bit with a radeon 4850, Q6600 G0 stepping.
I don't use a lot of addons, just the following:
Bartender
Deadly boss mods
Auctioneer
NPC scan
Errormonster (removes the annoying red error spam messages, try it)
Prat
Quartz
PallyPower
OmniCC
Recount
Rating Buster
Sexymap
Mik's Scrolling Battle text
That's not a lot right? Anyway, how can I reduce login/logout time with addons enabled?

First question:
Depends. If they're two mid-range cards, you'll likely not see any benefit. SLI functions by splitting the screen up (or alternating frames) and sending part of the image to the secondary card to render. This speeds up the process, but it doesn't provide any additional rendering power, so if you're already pushing the rendering capabilities of the cards you won't see a benefit. In other words, it's like terminal velocity; you're only going to render as 'good' as the single card, but because you have two of the cards you can render twice as fast (instead of seeing 15 fps at max settings for the card, you'll see 30, but if the card chokes on super-high shadows, you'll still see crap performance no matter how many cards you have).
That said, WoW is very hit-or-miss when it comes to SLI. Some people see huge gains, others see no difference, and still others just run into problem after problem with it. Personally, you're probably better off getting a single good card than two budget cards as SLI really only works well when you're running two high-end cards in tandem.
Second question:
Auctioneer is likely why your load times are so long. If you have it loading up at start up (rather than when you first visit an auction house) it will be trying to load it's entire scan-data database at login, which can be quite large (mine's almost 18mb).

Okay, thanks for that, I was looking for a bit more depth.
Could you give me any suggestions for specific cards? It doesn't have to be super amazing, preferrably I'd rather get the cheapest card to do the job I want it to do.
2nd, what could improve the addon load times? CPU, RAM, graphics card, Operating system, etc.

Well my nVidia 8800GT runs WoW at 50+ in Dal with everything maxed except shadows, so something like a GTS 250 ought to be enough (assuming you don't want more power to run other games in the future).
As for what can improve load times other than not running that addons, it could be a combination of things. Amount of ram (though at 4gigs you should not have that much of an issue, nor could you run more with 32bit windows anyway), speed of said ram, CPU speed, and hard drive speed.
Also, if you run the wowhead looter client. Try disabling it and loading in. It takes
forever
to start up for some reason.

This?
Um, "This?" is not much help... A little more information please. I realize its a link. But for the love of the light, describe it. It could be a link to a virus all we know.

Mate I'm a premium member with 1300+ posts I don't post malicious content here, I'm looking for help and it's a link to a so-called "GTS 250" card, I am wondering if the specific link I provided is said card, because I live in the UK buying from US sites is not a smart idea, I can purchase it from the link I gave and am wondering if it is the right card.
I need the cheapest card that will do 40+ FPS in dalaran ultra settings, how can I know that the GTS 250 will do it?

It should, but WoW is also very dependent on your CPU as well, so your mileage may vary.

I understand that, but the Q6600 should be more than enough to handle it, I might need a new mobo because this one can't overclock, know any good ones?

Wow you take offence easily, calm down cowboy... Next time name it "GTS 250"... much better than "This?".... and just because your premium with 1300 posts doesn't mean anything.. I have had 2 other accounts on Wowhead and had premium a couple times. All i asked was to describe what your talking about with that link. I said nothing about you being outside the USA, i could care less where you get products from.
As for your issue, any newe cheap card will do just that. Mine is an ATI HD 5750 and I run at ultra settings. BUT have to turn shadows down half way. Shadows really dont do much graphics wise, just causes trouble. as for a GTS 250, i belive thats one of the newer cards. If it fits, it should work.

Thanks for your help, and I didn't really get offended, just thought it was a bit silly to think it's a harmful link.

I've got a pretty cheap card in the GTS 220, admittedly it's working with a core i5 and 6G ram, but I get 50+ fps everywhere, only thing I can't comment on is 25 mans, I only do 10 due to guild size.
