What did you look like in BC? In Vanilla?

I never raided in Vanilla, and I only hit 70 about 2.5 months before wrath hit, but I still get Nostalgic about those days, and about every piece of gear I had. I cant really remember all my wrath upgrades, but every BC piece I got I remember the exact situation, who I was with, etc.
My first epic was the Direbrew Shanker from the brewfest boss. Followed quickly by the empty mug trinket. I remember that I got the horseman's blade on the very last day I could. I remember when I finally had saved enough emblems for my Crossbow of Relentless Strikes, and finally started being a pretty good dps.
Mostly I remember how proud I was when I was finally almost (never did get a second epic trinket in BC) fully epicc-ed.
So I decided to commemorate it by making a wow profile.

Though I didnt do spec (the trees have changed, and I dont fully remember), I have tried to be as accurate as possible with enchants.
It might be fun if everyone made these, "how you looked right before the expansion" profiles, and shared them.

My warrior at 60 (like all epic geared warriors at 60) looked like the product of incest between a bag of skittles and a blender.

Uhhh, the armor you have was from the WotLK launch event, it isn't tier stuff or anything.

What's your point?

If she's going for a TBC look then perhaps she should use common TBC gear was my point.
However, I just skimmed her post and misread her first line. I thought she said she just git 70 2.5 months ago and didn't realize she was posting a profile of her TBC gear when LK hit.

Here's some actual screenshots of my Warrior in both classic WoW and TBC.
What I PvP'd with @ Level 60
- Blue PvP set, Valor shoulders, Lionheart Helm, dual Dal'Rends
What I PvP'd with @ Level 70
- 2/5 Merciless, 3/5 Vengeful, Stormherald w/ Executioner
What I PvE'd (DPS) with @ Level 70
- Bloodmoon w/ Executioner, 2.6K AP, 41% Crit
What I PvE'd (tanked) with @ Level 70
- King's Defender w/ Mongoose, a mix of T4/T5 gear, 17K HP, 22K Armor, 60% combined Block/Dodge/Parry

Just out of curiousity didn't you need 102.4 total avoidance in TBC because of crushing blows? Or did warriors get a spell like Holy Shield, sorry, never really played warrs >_<.

IIRC Warrs had no choice but to roll with the punches for Crushing Blows. They had the old version of Shield Block which gave enough block to put a decently geared Warr >102.4% which allowed them to tank Illidan but for the most part because it was on a restrictive cooldown so they just soaked them.
It's been a while since BC but I think that's mostly right.

Actually, what you have for Holy Shield is what Warriors had for Shield Block, just more charges/time.
Old school SB was 2 blocks with 2 second CD and made us immune to things like that, so when tanking you bound that to the scroll wheel and just rolled that sucker.
Yup. Crushing blows were never a problem for properly-geared tanks. As long as Shield Block was used every CD, you were fine.

Aside from the hair (I had grey, long hair + beard), this is how I looked (I also had Netherwind turned off, because it clipped my hair. :( ).
I also had Vestments of Shifting Sands. Yay for pink!

Properly geared?
You had 75% block from SB, 5% dodge base, 5% dodge talents, 5% parry base, 5% parry talents, 5% miss and 5% block from talents.

As for my 70 raid stuff, the most vibrant memories was me grinding out S1 gear for Kara stuff, as well as wondering around with the Fool's Bane and Vanir's Fist.
IIRC it was +75% chance to block for 1 hit, with a 6 second cooldown. With a talent that added 1 more charge to it and reduced the cooldown to 5 seconds.
