I leveled a DK when wrath first came out. I leveled as blood and dps'd as blood until 3.2 when I switched to unholy and have been unholy dps since then.
At the time I started the DK blood leveling was extremely easy and fast. Almost no downtime and I could take on mobs above my level and solo the group quests. Not sure how much has changed since then.

DarthAtrayu, you stand to gain more DPS with a simple gem swap. Move the Nightmare Tear from your helm to the blue socket in your chest and put an Inscribed Ametrine (Str/Crit) in your helm. You'll gain 8 Str and 10crit this way.
Solid improvements on your character, by the way.

For leveling i'd say all the specs are gonna be good regardless. blood is just easier because you have all the self heals. Deathstrike and blood worms. in outlands tanking is gonna be easy once you hit 60. All you really need to do is put on frost presence and drop dnd and stand in it. Then just do your rotation like normal. From 60-70 dnd will pretty much hold agro for you and the mobs hit so soft that just having frost presence on will be enough to tank. When you hit northrend however it's a different story. If you try to tank with dps gear on in Utgarde Keep you'll most likely die. So hopefully you can build a decent set before you try to tank anything in northrend.
I leveled in blood pretty much till 80 and had frost DW tanking as my offspec.

i played DW frost dps for awhile before i switched to unholy. Honestly i liked it alot more then unholy however unholy just gave me a much easier dps rotation that i could do mindlessly and lead a raid at the same time. i think alot of it just depends on how you like to play the class. Blood is kind of that big burst dmg build where you pop all your cds and get to see those big heartstrike crits. Frost is kind of a proc build. you do the most dmg if you watch your KM/rime procs correctly. if you just spam HB everytime rime is up and don't try to time it with a nice KM then your dmg won't be all that great. Unholy is kind of that steady dps build. you keep your buffs up and pop cds like every other build but the rotation and dmg is more steady and you'll almost always end up with the same dps.

it works really well for leveling. but not all that great for raiding. you may not notice the healing because you heal yourself with deathstrike most of the time.
60 blood
70 blood
80 blood
this is generally what you'd spec while leveling. from 55-60 you can't really change it much, certain talents just aren't worth getting, their mostly utitlity or tanking. as for blood worms...you have a choice of putting blood worms in...or getting imp blood presence and mark of blood. Mark of blood is not bad but you have to remember to push it. if the mob that you marked dies you lose the healing. Imp blood presence is okay however you'll find you won't need the extra healing. it'd be nice if you got the extra healing in frost/unholy presence cause then it'd be a awesome tanking talent. however you have to be in blood. runetap is decent but i found i never used it. anyway goodluck
