Unholy Blight is the single greatest talent point (besides Scourge Strike and Master of Ghouls) you can spend in the Unholy tree. It's worth roughly 1-1.2% of your damage on a boss. This is much higher than many other talents' worth, like Necrosis (0.6-0.7% per point), Dark Conviction (0.3-0.5% per point) or Blood-Caked Blade (depending on gear. anywhere from 0.7-1.1% per point).
Short answer: get UB. Any Unholy DK without UB is not doing optimal DPS. It is absolutely worth it considering the synergy it has with the tree (Morbidity is 10% DC damage, EP is increased magic damage, RoR is increased damage period) and with the Glyph of Dark Death. You are Glyphing and speccing to increase the damage Death Coil causes. Unholy Blight is another 10% on top of that. Take a point from Dark Conviction to get it ASAP.
As far as your spec is concerned, the commonly-accepted single-target spec skips Morbidity, steals two points from Dark Conviction and puts those points into Necrosis. It looks something like
this
.
The other option is
12/0/59
once your gear can support it.

I understand you're not saying bone shield sucks or anything, I was more responding to the comment about the single greatest talent point you can spend in the Unholy tree.
Bone shield must be very high on the bang for the buck.
It is quite high on the "bang for your buck" factor. I did not mention it due to its somewhat awkward circumstances. Sometimes it's there, sometimes it's not so it's difficult to model. If I had to venture a guess, I would say it's probably 1.3-1.6% (again, that's a guess DPS for one point, but that can be hugely reliant on RNG and your Guild as well.
Plus, the OP had remarked on reconsidering its worth in his build; I was more concerned about dissuading him from dropping UB.
