I'm on the 10 day trial and I will be playing retail for the first time.
What race and class is the funnest to play with. I'm thinking Paladin because I like resuscitating dead players, I also like to heal noobs.

But seriously. I suggest what you do, is pick whatever one appeals to you first off, and then look into things. If you think your be intrested in lore, have a look into that. If you base it on appearance, try that.
I highly recommend you DON'T choose a class based on what racials they have, because that if often a bad mistake in the long term changes.
And try both sides, don't stick to one, your get to see both sides of the game that way.

From February 2008:
I've recently created a trial account in WoW and I keep hearing people on General chat say: "Giving free gold, PST <player name>"
So my question is this: are these bots of some sorts designed to lure you into thinking WoW is really like this and you should upgrade your account? Or are they actual people who enjoy giving money? (Seems unlikely since more than 20 diff people said this same line last night)
Question 2: What the hell does PST stand for?
