The Wowhead item comparison rates the hand shrouds better anyway. i say keep till you get more of the dark coven set then go for the set bonus.

Sim it.
PS: I find it hilarious when people say "I need the haste". Haste is NOT Hit rating. You don't NEED any of it... If a piece has +50 haste and 25 Mp5, a similar iLvL piece with +50 crit and +40 spirit would actually be better. "But I'm losing the haste!" what does it matter, the crit+spirit combo more than make up for the DPS that the haste was giving you. Yes, haste is more desirable than crit or spirit on a point for point basis, however there is no "minimum" amount of haste you need to be a successful raider. An upgrade is an upgrade, even if the stats aren't as pretty.

From everything I have read about haste one thing has really shown through when it comes to warlocks.
Haste = Waste
Dont pick haste when u can have hit or crit or sp instead.

Keep sister's handshrouds until you have another t10 piece, then swap them. Don't get a t10 piece that will break your 2p t9 bonus. Wait until you have four t10 pieces to break it.

T9 2piece is garbage. While not the absolute worst bonus in the world, don't break your back trying to keep it.

You could not be farther from the truth.

This is just wrong. It may not be worth much to affliction, but he is destro and demo specced. The bonus is very strong for both those specs. For destro because of empowered imp and for demonology due to the large amount of damage done by the pet and because it helps with demonic pact uptime.

t9 2 piece is indeed a good bonus, but as Fing said, it's not worth keeping over t10 4 piece.
I fail to see where Fing wrote this, and if you read my first reply carefully you will probably realize that I did never suggest this either. Still, since my first reply has been misunderstood I will clarify my suggestion to the original poster so that there is no doubt:
In chronological order
1. Equip Sister's Handshrouds now as they are better than the t10 gloves
2. Wait until you have enough emblems of frost to get
one
additional t10 piece. Do not buy a t10 piece that will cause you to lose your t9 2-piece bonus
3. Equip Dark Coven gloves and your
single
new t10 piece, gaining a 2p t10 bonus while maintaining your 2p t9 bonus
4. Wait until you have enough emblems for
two
additional t10 pieces
5. Equip these
two
t10 pieces, losing your t9 2-piece bonus, but gaining the 4p t10 bonus

Short answer: Sim it.
Long answer: After ~3 hours of running simulations trying to find out the optimal piece of T10 to purchase next, I realized that no matter which piece I bought I would actually be losing DPS. This was because I was ignoring two options: legs and hands. I had 2Piece T9 bonus for both legs and hands, and was doing my best not to break it... I said, "To hell with it" and tried a sim with T10 Gloves (thus BREAKING the T9 2piece and fulfilling the T10 2piece) and actually saw a 50DPS INCREASE (the first reasonable increase I was able to find).
The T9 2piece set bonus really should NOT be overestimated. The 4piece is a thing of beauty, increasing DPS massively accross the board... The 2piece, while nice, is not a make or break set bonus. This is simming as Demo by the way.
