Heya, I've seen some other posts with 3.3.3 spec, but none about demo.
4pc 10 bonus is on Immolate, lol... they could have done it on corruption :)) MC and Set @ same spell.
So I'm thinking 2 experiment some changes around Immolate:
This is my char:

What about this spec / glyphs:
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#IZ0GchkAbihsgzAoEb0V:nTqzV
?
- 4pc set bonus: each time Immolate deal periodic dmg, i have 15% change 2 get 10% dmg increase me and pet. This means I will try 2 keep up immolate all the time, even in execution phase.
- remove 2 points improved demonic tactics (8% crit for pet, in my case) and go in Aftermath (6% Immolate dmg increase).
- glyph of Immolate instead of Felguard = 10 % Immolate dmg increase.
- in 3.3.3 the immolate will crit... having a lot of crit.. will be shiny?
What I will lose?
- well 7% crit for felguard and 20% atack power on him. Now that the time for the buff to be reaplied is from 12 to 25 seconds...I nerfed my felguard a little but the buff should stay even more up, with 3.3.3.
What I will gain?
Hopefully some more dps.
PS: another option is to remove improved demonic tactics also, and go 2 points in suppresion. Easier to play with gear and hit the cap in 10 man, where there's not always shadow priest or boomkin.
I'm not under hit; I have Abracadaber staff or Frost nedle + icc 10 offhand in bag, that I use in 10 man. So maybe keep the same gear even in 10 man with 2 points supp.

if you think it's good, sim it
then
tell us about it if it wins. otherwise, what's the point in even talking about it?

Do you have any decent guides on using Simulationcraft, you can point me at?
I get the idea of simming things... and it's prolly a good thing to encourage players to be self-sufficient, no doubt. But this thing is just not like twiddling my iPod. ;-)

So simcraft it's not updated with Immolate crit.
Still I ran some tests on:
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#IZ0GchkAbihsgzAoEb0V:nTqzV
With old patch, changing the spec like up mentioned, I lose 350 DPS.
- Will Immolate crit value 350 dps in 3.3.3?
- Also the demonic pact was 97% Patchwerk fight. It should be 100% in 3.3.3
Now, with this build , immolate did 726 average dps. Let's say with Immolate will crit 50%. So I get close to get my 350 dps missing up... still not big difference. Actually it could be the same... as before. BAD IDEA that spec :)))
I guess I will go in suppresion 2 points, and that's it :)
Cheers asakawa :)
PS: still I might be wrong, but initial conclusion is that it's not worth it because on normal spec the dps is almost the same... but you will have + immolate crit :)

zirus, how is that on topic?
jamayk, even with the immolate buffs we really need to have a glyph of felguard in all demo builds. i suggest LT, FG and immo (dropping QD) would be a better choice.
aftermath will definitely be one of several top choices for those two points. some will likely choose suppression or even cataclysm (given demo's higher mana use and lower mana return).

@zirus: here's a topic about destr 3.3.3.
http://www.wowhead.com/?forums&topic=145736&p=1867208
@asakawa: I never tought about Cataclysm. Considering that in decmiation phase @ boss with huge HP pool (aka fester when I go melee) ... I remain without mana and I lose GCD's lifetaping... that might work. Nice obesrvation.
So the options could be 2 points Aftermath / Suppression / Cataclysm
About QD, it affects MC. Still the ideea of Immolate Glyph getting into the 3, it's there :)
Before testing I guess we have to w8 for SimCrat 3.3.3
thanks for reply, that's what I wanted 2 find :) More options / opinions about demo :D
Cheers

QD has only even been a reasonable third option. the other options are immolate and meta. i've always felt that meta is a weak glyph and chose immolate before we had access to QD even though meta simmed higher on paper.
QD increases corruption DPS and
slightly
increases MC uptime. however, its contribution shouldn't be over-estimated. it is just the current best of the third slot alternatives, if a boost to immo via DoT crits is enough to warrant talenting into it then it's definitely going to push the immo glyph over QD.
