Oh !@#$ button? Mages have Iceblock, invisibility, mana shield... Nothing a warlock has compares to those as far as getting out of sticky situations.

I have an 80 mage and a 74 lock and the lock is a LOT more fun. I love meeting mages in BG's it's like a guaranteed kill. Also love meeting DK's and hunters and keep my deathcoil cooled down specially for them.
Basically being a lock means you fear no-one and nothing and you'll solo a fair few group quests without sweating it.
In the words of the Foo Fighters:
'Done! Done and I'm on to the next one! Done! Done and I'm onto the next!' FTW

If you like warlocks, by all means, play them.
Just stay the hell away from this forum, because it's the most unfriendly class forum in the world! Trust me, I know this because of my learnings!

I actually quite like this forum. If you want a place where you will get completely ripped out no matter if you are actually right or not then try DLP. That site redefines nasty as an attitude.
This forum is actually very useful, provided a modicum of decency and humility on the part of the newbies asking the questions. Asakawa, the main source of newbie help, is blunt, which some just can't take.
Blunt is good. When people try to sugarcoat things that's when it all goes to hell. I also agree that this forum is a useful warlock reasource. Oddly enough I've found it to be superiour to class specific sites so far.
