Still having trouble with Rogues...

Yeah, even after following tips and things that other people gave me, Rogues still faceroll me without even trying. I asked guildmates, and they just laughed, saying Rogue sucks against everything, and Priest should have no problems at all with them, yet...whenever one fights me, I feel totally helpless, and just get steamrolled.
I can't seem to out-heal their damage because of -50% healing poison, and unlike Warrior or DK or Ret, I can't run away from them because they slow me 100% of the time from poisons, which I'm unable to dispel.
People say to DoT the rogue, to force Cloak, and they usually do, but by the time cloak is over, I'm dead. DoTs don't seem to do a whole lot of damage, anyways...maybe 2-3% of the rogue's health, per tick.
So...I'm clueless. What do I do? I can't seem to do anything but heal, or else I die right away, and like I said, even spamming all my heals on myself, I can't even come close to keeping up with the damage.
I've got 1100 Res, and 3k SP, 28k HP buffed.

It sounds like you're a priest.
Number one I am going to assume you're disc, if so are you popping shields, ps etc?
Number two use your fear, force him to react to you, then heal up and dot.
Number three most pvp is not one on one, so where are your teammates, they should be peeling off of you.

Warriors should be a far far far far heavier problem, 75% mortal strike hurts. (And good warriors should be unkitable aswell, spamstring+ charge(Warbringer).
You HAVE to spam cooldowns to survive. There is no other way. Pain Suppress. Medallion. Possible Trinkets. Power Infusion. (I personally used Scale of Fates with PI macroed, for a super-PI of ~35% haste)
Other than that, pure overgearing, and the obvious lack of poison dispel. Either invest on Free Action Potions (which you can use if it's not arena, judging by your last post, it is not), or get a friend. I'm sorry to be so vague, but I said most of the tips I usually use on the last post.

Dude just relax and think it over.
Don t panic when u enter the arena and the gladius doesn t show up any enemys.
Well y i m not a priest not a chothy either but i m not surviving only cause of that.
Practise with the best and come up with strategies for any possible reaction-make the opponent to react different with and w/o cds and do so 2.
I m not even fairly geared with my pvp gear yet on shammy and still i spend most my time outside ogri with the best so i have to do btr all times-still rogues own me i don t have the best reaction i just drop my cds and if i get of the stunlock i got a slightly chance(vanish is always there).
I ll suppose that u are healer when u get stunlock(:cheap +kidney)use your instand cd with your greatest heal or your fear before you get a blind(still if u can make it i m waiting for blind thought to use my trinket so it won t go wasted).
Still u don t got your mate to burst him a bit so u can survive?
arenas all about co-op not only the best build u can make.

It's not Arena, it's BG. Arena, I have no problem with any class because my partner's a mage who knows what he's doing. Why does everyone automatically assume Arena?
When I'm in a BG, my battlegroup has a high population of fail players, and people in full PvE gear, and most of the time they're either busy fighting someone else, or hell, I've even seen people run right past me when I'm getting my ass handed to me by a rogue.
Free Action Potion makes things a bit easier for me, but I've yet to kill a rogue, even with one of those.
And about them not giving a %^&* about my DoTs, any time I DoT a rogue that's attacking me, he'll instantly cloak, so I think they do give a !@#$ about my DoTs =P I don't even play rogue in PvP, and I know that if you're Dotted, you can't stealth/vanish because of the damage, and that's somewhat of a problem for a Rogue.
What confuses me though is that everyone in my guild that I asked said that as Disc, I should be able to faceroll a rogue with no problems whatsoever, even the two pvp-savvy rogues said that they suck against Disc, so I don't know what I'm doing wrong. :x
This
is my talent spec, btw.

You have to stop cast. Letting a rogue kick your penance will kill you every time. Learn how many ticks you can usually get away with without getting kicked. Then pop 1-2 ticks of penance and stop it. Hopefully you bate a kick and can heal freely or he has to pop cd's to get back on top of your heals. Use Devouring plague first as it helps with a bit of healing.
Also, good rogues will time their vanish between DoT ticks and still get an opener on you.
Wait, what does that mean?
Well, they can wait for the second fear, which they don't have a trinket for, and cloak so you can't fear them the second time. Then they prep, vanish, and re open on you and you are screwed.
Also, when healing yourself after a baited kick, don't face him, or he'll
Gouge
you and interupt it anyways. Then he'll wait for energy, and stun you so you still can't heal.
Knowing the mechanics of the other class helps a lot when fighting against them.
You can also holy nova to get a small heal out and do a bit of damage if your fear is almost off cd. This also makes it harder to vanish and reopen on you. Usually they won't cloak if you start holy nova'ing cause they think you are terrible or are getting desperate.

Well, as a Rogue, I basically have 30 seconds to kill you. First thing should be to use Psychic Scream, of which the Rogue will either Will of the Forsaken/ Trinket. Now you must stay alive for 30 seconds before you can Fear again, forcing him to be CC'd for 9 seconds.
^^ Lightrain's suggestions were right on. Also, after first fear, immediately Penance. Even if he trinkets immediately, he will be maybe 5 yards away, allowing you to get another tick in on your Penance.
Keep Power Word:Shield on you at all times! That is your #1 priority move, well 2nd after Fear, but shielding takes priority over dotting, penance, and flash heal, etc. Make sure your talent spec includes Reflective Shield, so that they Rogue takes damage as he destroys the shield.
If you sit through Kidney Shot, you can save your trinket for the Blind. The Rogue can't reset this way then.
Use Penance every chance you get! Honestly, as a Rogue, I find Disc Priests tough to take down when they DON'T SPELL JUKE. Kick has a 10 second cooldown. Penance, when glyphed (You are glyphed right?), only has an 8 second cooldown. Meaning, even if I kick your 1st Penance, silenced for 5 seconds, when Penance becomes available next time, you can get the full thing in.
Rogues have 4 interrupts. Kick and Gouge on 10 second cooldowns, Kidney Shot on 20 second cooldown, Blind on 2 minute cooldown when talented (most PvP Rogues have this, 3 minutes otherwise). Rogues also get a 5th interrupt if they spec Combat with Deadly Throw, although few PvP Rogues have this.
Short Version: Use Psychic Scream, Shield(Talented for Reflective Damage), Penance (Glyph For It Too), Flash Heal, SW:Pain, Devouring Plague, etc. and you should be good.and like I said, even spamming all my heals on myself, I can't even come close to keeping up with the damage.
Could you be a little more specific about WHICH spells you're using, and WHEN you're using them in the fight? Like ie. Penance immediately after Kidney Shot, etc? Disc Priest against a Rogue is all about timing your heals against his cooldowns.
