No, I don't think Prot PvP is dead. move along. We lost a bit a damage but we still a whoop-ass amount of mobility and utility.
But I got a few questions since I did'nt played prot since season 5.
1. Here's the
gear set-up I plan to use. Overall nice resillience while having 75% Arp with sunders and battle stance. I'll switch the battle master if I can get a juicy PvE trinket ( like DBW or WFS ). Considering I plan to do 2s with another dps and a lot of BGs, should I keep my resillience that high or should I lower it for more dps stats ?
2. In my opinion, after the damage nerf, we can't have success in 2s with a healer but I am confident I can play in my bracket ( 1800-1900 ) with a dps but wich one ?
Shadow priest ? Dispells, Off-heals, excellent burst when on locked-down target, little MS effect.
MM hunter ? real MS effect, excellent burst and CC.
Rogue ? Excellent burst and CC but shared DR stuns could be a problem
Arms warrior ? Could be played like some kind of man cleave so a stunned target in a bladestorm.
3. I have some hesitation for my 3rd major glyph. Shield Wall for
MORE survivability ? Spell Reflect ? Charge for more mobility ?
( I don't think Blocking is a good choice after the BV nerf. )
Thanks in advance.

Heal/prot, as Kramp said, is a pretty bad idea. You simply don't have the burst to down anyone who is wearing any resil.
Who said anything about Prot/Holy? I was thinking
Prot/Ret, or a PvE-style prot tank with a block set.
Even with diminishing returns, you've got three stuns (Hammer of Justice, Concussion Blow, Shockwave) and two silences/interrupts (Shield Bash, Avenger's Shield) that can keep a healer locked down for about 15-18 seconds in total, plus random Revenge / Seal of Justice procs if you're spec'd for them.
Prot paladins have better burst than Ret paladins every 30 seconds due to Avenger's Shield. If between the both of you, you can't take down a healer in 15 seconds, (that's 6 GCDs of attacks, after the control abilities) I'd be pretty worried. Prot/Prot is actually an arena combo that I want to try with my brother, as soon as I level my warrior to 80.
