@Magnett- Why female Draenei? lol
On Topic:
I don't really enjoy world PvP, but I do accept that it is part of a PvP server, and since the general consensus seems to be that PvP server = more competitive players all around = better PvE as well, I consider it the price I pay for better raiding.
That being said, i rarely if ever instigate world PvP, especially against a low level character. The only reasons I will start a fight are:
A) In defense of another Ally or a lowbie town
B) They've been harassing one of my alts (why badly geared 80's pick on lowbies in leveling gear is beyond me- it's like asking for a butt-kicking)
C) Titanium :)
D) If there is a group of 80's in a leveling zone being particularly obnoxious to leveling Ally, I will return the favor by one-shotting any lowbie horde in the same zone
For Titanium, or evening out zone PvP, I never corpse camp. However, when I'm turning the tables on a player who has been a jacka**, or is ganking lowbies, I usually spend as much time as possible making sure he has to spirit res- I'm just that kind of girl :P

Dunno. Something about most (not all, obviously) people who play them and their need to remind everyone that polygon-made tails and horns are apparently incredibly arousing, I guess.
World PvP is, IMO, much more fun than BGs and, usually, Arenas. There are no silly flags to capture: there's you, and then there's the opposing faction. You kill the opposing faction. Feels quite a lot more like actual war than "we've been at the Ruins long enough go get the flag some magical being shoved into a floating rock and bring it here!". And unlike Arenas, you're free to use whatever gadgets or consumables you can come up with, and the fact that numbers are very unlikely to be 50/50 adds to the challenge. You may be 5 against their 3, but you can bet that soon enough they'll call a few guildies. And so on.
I'm not one to go around saying "omg wotlk sux bring vanilla back" but if I do miss anything from pre-WotLK it's Tyr's Hand and Quel'danas. The closest thing we have now is the WG fortress when the opposing faction owns it.
Don't get me wrong, I don't want it to be TBC again. Had enough of Druids for a lifetime.

If you don't want to be ganked, go to a PvE server.
Honestly, ganking is a part of WoW... and it's a part of many other MMOs. It's there, and not going away.
That being said, I guess I could be called a sort of a "care bear." Unless you do something to offend me, chances are I'm not going to gank you. Most of the alts I level are more geared than other people's alts (diregarding heirlooms) and I usually take the time to know the class pretty well. My spriest can gank just about anyone of my level as effectively as my lvl 80s can.

Ok first off, although I dislike the alliance with a passion, even more so the players on my server, I don't run around alliance towns killing low lv npcs and quest givers, even in places like goldshire.
However. If I find an alliance player attacking crossroads, or any other horde town or city, I will grief them. They want to make it so lower lv players on my side can't do quests, then they die, simple as that.
I don't cast the first stone, I simply wait for them to then I can justify ganking and camping them.

If you don't like ganking play on RP servers and stay away from PvP.
With the new Dungeon search you don't have to set foot in Ganklethorn Vale. The point of it is that some people happen to be good at video games but poor at other things and want to take their frustration out on others. Just like how bigger kids pick on smaller kids irl. It's just bullying and you don't have to deal with it.

on a pve server I go with the red is dead thing why because its hard to find one that is red most are not marked. but on pvp I like to work together with the other faction that bit of fear is what makes it fun.

it's fun to see losers come here and try to defend being jerks.
laughing at all the loser gankers
Wait, we're losers because we're better than you at the game?
Disapproving of it is one thing, there's a bunch of valid reasons to do so in this thread. You're not disapproving; you're being bitter because you rolled on a PvP server despite being bad at PvP.
To me ganking isn't so much killing a lower level player as it is camping them and killng them over and over.
If its red its dead, but I don't camp.
I agree, though some offenses are camp worthy. Camping your alt, Typhooning people off their flying mounts (pre-3.3), repeatedly attacking Xroads, etc.

So if I see an Alliance Member (As I am Horde), I should stop, wave to said Alliance Member, wait for them to finish killing their current target(s), rest and heal/mana up, and only then should I be allowed to attack them?
And maybe on my Rogue, I should start off without Stealth?
I would at least wait until someone finished with their current target(s), and while I would personally let someone heal up, I certainly don't expect it from anyone else. Rogues are going to do what rogues do.
So you rolled on a PvP server, but expect the PvP rules to exclude only you because you do not like them? If you do not like how things are done on a server, you don't expect everyone else to leave. Like they say, "When in Rome..".
I never said anything about rules excluding me. I had a general question as to why people use them the way they do.
Thats what being on a PvP server is about. The majority of PvP players rolled their characters on said PvP servers knowing full well this would happen.
You are the minority. Things don't happen your way.
Actually, when I first started and made a character on a PvP server, I honestly thought people would be a bit more honorable (for lack of a better term) about the whole PvP thing.

So much crying in this thread.
Red is dead. End of story.
Some of us enjoy ganking. I so miss the days of booty bay having all of 5 guards that did almost no damage and couldn't swim haha. Ah the hours I spent killing lowbies there. I especially enjoy ganking as a rogue. As it's easy to stalk people, trick them into thinking you've left after killing them, then killing them upon ressing. I could literally spend hours griefing lowbies.
"Red is dead" I've grown to accept, but this whole idea of spending hours griefing people is just pathetic.
