Revitalize is awesome. I'd kick any resto Druid who doesn't have at least 2/3 in it out of my raids.
Just copy the cookie cutter build and be happy with it. They are the established and accepted build for a reason. oberons build is very good and will serve you well.

For sure. It is less useful though for a fresh 80 running heroics trying to gear up. At that point in your healing career, you're going to be using a lot more Regrowths and Nourishes and you'll really benefit from (maybe even "need") the extra healing from Living Seed. So for fresh-80s, I think, Living Seed > Revitalize.
That's why I wrote 2/3 ;)
This
is what I would use for 5mans (and it's still pretty awesome for 10mans). Living Seed is quite powerful but the 3% haste from CF aren't that important, you won't be casting all the time in heroics.
Still, the traditional raid healing build will do good enough and it will save the respec once the badge gear has been collected.

Uh, because I spaced and wasn't really paying attention. Those points should be in Natural Shapeshifter/Master Shapeshifter instead.
And I just copied oberons build without paying attention to the lower level skills, just changed a few of the high level ones around ;)
Good catch, yes the points in Naturalist are completely wasted and should be in Natural/Master Shapeshifter.
