The ground tore open, a massive black structure rising. The ground underneath the cracks was not earthen, it was flame. The outlookers watched in horror as the mountain moved upwards further, two massive black wings sprouting from his body. As the thing took flight, it opened it's massive maw, giving onlookers a generous view of the fiery interior. In what could only be known as a laugh, the Aspect began his cull....
Five months ago, the Destroyer returned to Azeroth. The lands of the ancient planet were changed, burning under the Earthwarder's flame. In the first week, Highlord Tirion Fordring led a team of the Champions of Azeroth into Deepholm, hoping to destroy the Aspect...
...and failed. The dragon sent his most powerful representative, Sarllion, into the World with the Ashbringer, to melt it over Stormwind city. Sadly, the weakened core of the Naaru wrecked the city, sending it into flames. Varian Wrynn and Jaina Proudmoore sacrificed themselves in an attempt to save Stormwind. Once again, the Heroes of Azeroth failed. In a desperate attempt to save his Faction, Varian's son, Anduin, introduced a new force of the Alliance, the Worgen. Meanwhile, the Guardian of Tirisfal, Me'dan, has also come out of hiding. He has been seen around Grim Batol, aiding the factions fighting there and attempting to bridge the gap between the two worlds.
While all this was happening, the Horde fared worse. In a destroying blow, the beloved Warchief, Thrall, has went missing. With the Cataclysm, Garrosh Hellscream has since seized the throne of Warchief and welcomed Goblins into the Horde. Cairne Bloodhoof, old and sick, died when the flames consumed most of the Mesa. His son, Baine, has since taken the crown of the Chief. In the second month, Anduin Wrynn and Baine Bloodhoof met under a peace banner, before calling in Genn Greymane, Velen, Tyrande Whisperwind, Magni Bronzebeard, Vol'Jin, Gelbin Mekkatorque, and Sylvanas Windrunner. Together, they formed a new faction against Deathwing, The Forgotten Crusade. Garrosh, enraged his fellow Horde would desert him, turned to Lor'Themar for aid, only to find the Elves had been reunited with Alleria Windrunner, who had been researching a way to change them back into High Elves. In her travels in Outland, she came across a ancient relic, which, was actually dropped by a Blood Elven warrior who's name has been long forgotten. Once dipped in the Sunwell, the item could be used to restore Blood Elves to their full heritage as High Elves. Of course, only a small band of these 'Restored High Elves' joined Alleria. Of course, with Alleria as their leader, the Elves rejoined the Alliance, or now, The Forgotten Crusade as the Elven faction of The Golden Covenant. For Alleria though, deeper misfortune awaited. Her son, Arator, had been moving across the Outland, seeking the Dark Portal. In his travels, he met with a Orcish Warlock named Mosh'Lemad. Mosh'Lemad, while pretending to be his friend, turned him into a helpless Felblood Elf. Arator, though, after only a week, managed to overcome Mosh'Lemad and escape to the now-weakened numbers of the Blood Elves. Normally, they would not have accepted him, but him being who he was, he was welcomed. Maddened, angry and very,
very
felthirsty, he convinced some of the Blood Elves to join with him, who he also changed into Felbloods. He named these Felblood Elves the Moon Elves, siding with the Twlights in an attempt for survival. Moving into Grim Batol, they are the servants of the Dragons there now. The remaining Blood Elves joined The Forgotten Crusade, albeit hated and despised. Only with Sylvanas' urging were they allowed to join. With the forces of the Crusade, Baine led a team into Orgimmar, slaughtering all Garrosh supporters, before taking the Orc's head himself. The remaining Orcs joined the Crusade with no apparent leader. The leaders of the Crusade forced the Orcs and the Goblins, who had alos wanted to join, upon Vol'Jin. Two months afterwards, the Crusade's forces have organised outside Grim Batol, training the fighters. It is up to you now. Report to you're respective leader. Now. You are our last line.
Welcome to The Darkening of Azeroth : The Cataclysmic War!
This is a RP based five months after the Cataclysm, with a new faction rallying against Deathwing. You may play as any Race or Class, as a fighter for the Forgotten Crusade! We do plan to be leading assaults and attacks on camps and Grim Batol itself, but until these events it is a just a RP based around this new, military type of life for most of the fighters. Good luck.
You may also Roleplay on the Opposite side, as a Black/Chromatic/Twilight Dragon.
((P.S. I am taking a backseat until a bit later on.))

Deptharion
Location: Grim Batol
A great wyrm of the black dragonflight, Deptharion is reoughly sixty eight thousand years old and was alive to see the crowning of the aspects. While he would normally lack power compared to the twilight dragons, his age has given him strength and power of epic proportions. His humanoid form is that of a heavily armor clad vrykul carrying two massive blades. While he does not agree with destroying the mortals for his own gain, he sees that they have become corrupt, and as charged by the Titans he must destroy the corruption source.

((have to point this out: Blood elves and high elves will never rejoin as a race because of the huge cultural diffrence that exists along with the fact that most high elves view blood elves as traitors.

Pathal Shadowbane
Age : 153
Race : Restored High Elf
Faction : The Forgotten Crusade/The Golden Covenant
Class : Paladin, Retribution
Background :
Pathal was born a High Elf, in the majestic city of Silvermoon. His parents, Rassandria and Balaer Shadowbane, who were both Paladins, taught him to wield a sword at the age of nine. When Pathal turned sixteen, he had fallen in love with a human, Mary Callrid. Four months later, Mary was found to be pregnant. It was not long afterwards before Mary moved into Pathal's parents home, which was the custom. The next year, the couple had bought a house, nurturing a newborn half-elf. The first sign of trouble in Pathal's life, however, was during in the Fall of Quel'Thalas. When the Humans of Lordaeron left, Mary was torn. Being of Lordaeron heritage, she received a letter, ordering her to come with them. Pathal urged her to leave, for them both to. However, for Mary, it wasn't so easy. The family had settled in Silvermoon, and with the child, who they had named Bella, travelling wasn't a simple affair. In the end, much to Pathal's disappointment, the couple stayed in Silvermoon. Sadly, only one month later, the undead horrors hit the city. Trapped, scared, and deprived of any real basic needs for a few days, Pathal had to venture out towards the plague-infested Market for food. Doing so, however, he had to open a small gate in the city wall. Behind this, was a massive Plague Giant, that stamped through, knocking him unconscious. When he awoke, he was in an alien world. He found that the Elves who had survived the Scourge had consumed Fel Energy to stay alive. Drinking the foul concoction, his eyes glowed green. His best friend at the time, a Draenei who had kept him alive, Razrula, told him the terrible truth. The Undead armies were named the Scourge, and they had killed everyone who wasn't at the camp. Realising his love and child were dead, he was reduced to wandering the plains of this planet. Eventually, he returned to Azeroth, becoming a Blood Knight. He was nothing special. He done nothing. Just sat in his old, ruined home within Silvermoon, eventually rebuilding it. He has lived there until now, when he was restored to a High Elf and joined The Golden Crusade. He has finally left grief behind, and is determined to do something worthwhile.
Pathal Shadowbane
Crusade Base Camp
Pathal looked around, wiping his fair hair from his face. Spotting the grand banner of the Golden Covenant, he walked towards it. Four Paladins guarded the High Queen's tent.
"Anaria shola." The first one said. He was tall, with a brown fringe hinting under his helm.
"Bal'a dash, Ban'dinoriel. I come to see the High Queen, in enrol. Vendel'o eranu ." Pathal answered.
"I see." The guard said, before stepping aside.
"I thank you" The paladin said, before stepping past the others, who were all staring at him.
Alleria glanced up as Pathal walked in.
"Bal'a dash, Malanore. It is rather ronae here, is it not? What is your business, Paladin?"
"I have come for you to vendel'o eranu my past. I come to serve, my Lady."
"I see..." The woman said, "Your name?"
"Pathal. Pathal Shadowbane."

(( Take 2 with Bloowhowl and Blackbite, v2. ))
Characterss:
Ivan "Bloodhowl" Jeret
,
Krista "Blackbite" Jeret
Faction: Alliance
Races: Gilnean Worgen
Location: Wetlands
Ivan "Bloodhowl" Jeret and Krista "Blackbite" Jeret are siblings that fled from Gilneas in order to try and escape... a different part of them, avoiding civilization as much as possible. Even so, they remain loyal to the Alliance, and are less then found of the Horde. Although their postion dosn't allow them to be horribly choosey over who they seek help from.
Ivan is a warrior that holds much pride in his skill in battle, holds fast to his belief that he has a clever wit, and is afraid of very few things. One of those few things is the other pressence within his mind - a dark worgen named "Bloodhowl." Bloodhowl is an opptunist, taking whatever it is he wants whenever he can - this typically meaning whenever Ivan's mental guard is down. Needless to say, this has led to several... "unfortunate accidents" in their past. He weilds a massive broadsword to defeat any who oppose him.
Krista is is talented shadow mage - dabbling in dark magics, and combining them with arcane magic - who thinks every situation through before proceeding to fight, and even then is catious. Much like her brother she too has another pressence within her mind that she fears - a worgen named "Blackbite." Blackbite is a wild card; unpredictable, crafty, deadly, and completely insane - in short, comparable to the perfect killer. She carries with her a dagger and staff for protection whenever her magics may fail.
For both of them, the worgen transformation takes effect during the night and whenever they find themselve in combat against something, however they are still barely able to keep their other halves under control. When they are in control, Bloodhowl and Blackbite disregard any weapons that Ivan or Krista might have been using - save to add to the deadliness of their own claws and fangs.
Ivan and Krista looked at the shattered gates of Grim Batol from where they were hiding in the underbrush.
"So," Ivan muttered, "it's true. Deathwing
is
back."
Just now figuring this out
? Bloodhowl laughed within his mind.
Humans...
"Yep," Krista replied with a nod, "and it looks like the Twilight's Hammer is helping him." She motioned towards the cultists wandering around the area.
Can I kill him
? Blackbite begged.
Or at least maim him
?
The humans ignored their other halves and pulled back towards the darker parts of the marsh.

Do you smell that? Bloodhowl said, and Ivan turned his head back towards the gates of Grim Batol. Although still in his human form, even he could smell the stench of dragon that was drawing closer and closer to the surface.
"Brace yourself," he muttered. "I think something very, very big is about to make itself known."
Yay
! Blackbite yelped.
Violence
!
Krista gritted her teeth.
