Guardian Spirit
when my DK friend used
AotD
on the last boss of H-VH. xD

At Mage Lord Ouro (or whatever his name is) in Occulus I did 60 to 0% solo on my prot paladin, everyone died in the ice/arcane explosion, leaving me alone, everyone was expecting me to die and they waited outside the instance to get in, to see me alive dancing on top of the body of the boss :P

In ICC, on the first group of trash before Valithria, the pull went wrong. Healers got killed, tanks got killed, and the mobs picked off the DPS one by one. Four left, and myself with a warlock. The warlock died, leaving three mobs standing against my shadow priest...
It wasn't even a close thing, I came out of that at full health. :D The guildies were just happy that we didn't have to do them all again.

Back when fire guy was the badest thing in VoA. 25 man raid and everyone died except for pala healer and my priest healer. We took his last 70K hp or so.

It wasn't a group save but....
A buddy of mine somehow managed to miss every single spore during H-Festergut 10 man. He's a feral kitty druid and went bear and hit every single def cd he had, put himself at 70k HP and ate the Pungent Blight.

This is an old one, running my 60-some hunter through Underbog back in TBC. Tank is unable to keep aggro on more than one mob, so I have my pet off-tanking one while I kite the third in a 3-man pull. The paladin is only healing the tank (mend pet on my pet, and I'm not getting hit), and somehow goes OOM anyway, so during this process I CC my kite target and bandage the tank. This wasn't just once, but several times in the run. At the end of the run I bring up recount. I'm first on damage...my pet is second (our total is over 55%). So...I basically did the job of everyone else better than they did, I'd call that a save.

Fire guy was never the baddest thing, Emalon always caused more wipes even after he came out.
We finished off Ony10 with only 2 hunters, me along with some random pug.

A Mage in HPoS. The hunter decided it would be fun to pull both packs of Fallen Warriors right before the tunnel and MD'd to the tank, who dropped pretty quick due to the slightly-undergeared paladin healer. I start spamming Living Bomb, the tank drops from the casters. Then I follow. Then the hunter, and the healer went to tank gear out of desperation. Her health dropping faster than ever before, it was looking bleak... until Living Bomb detonated. After about 10 seconds of chain explosions said healer was already starting on rezzes.

Solo'ing Garfrost from ~70% to 0 in H PoS... three times. My experience with this boss has taught me two things:
1: People suck at Garfrost (refreshing stacks is HARD!)
2: Blood DKs can solo most heroic bosses quite easily =|
