The only shows on television are Futurama, the Colbert Report, and the Daily Show. Don't try to tell me otherwise.
Colbert Report Rules!
Tbh the only shows I watch anymore are Dilbert and the Office. And sometimes the IT crowd when I can get it.

For the Lost-haters: What do you not like about the show? Is it cliche? Predictable? Do you feel it suffers from something that previous shows have suffered from? What could be changed about the show that would make it acceptable to you?As I said, I watched the first season, but only because of the Beast, as I wanted to see it.... but beyond that, it just didn't draw me in; none of the cast is very memorable to me, the stories were standard sci-fi/drama fare. It also didn't help that when Lost was on, there were other shows I wanted to watch more really, and as it changed nights fairly regularly originally, that would mean it was up against a CSI, a Law and Order, Eureka and other shows that were... just better to me.
I don't look down on people who watch Lost, that is there right, but when they go on and on about how it's the best show ever, that's what makes me want to tweak them and pull their noses. If my comments have insulted anyone, I'm sorry... but I don't take them back heh.

best show on television is still the best show on television
In your opinion; best show on television for me is the longest running drama; Law & Order, nothing that's on right now is equal to that one.
L&O is ending so lol
Yes... that was already mentioned, and it's a sad day for television that it is getting canceled, but crap like American Idol and all the other reality show mindless junk keep's on going... just goes to show, the good stuff is always taken off the air.

So, for the Lost-lovers: What do you like about the show? What about it catches your interest and keeps you watching? Who are your favorite characters? What sets it apart from other shows?
It never was able to draw me in. I watched some of season 1 and that's all. Occasionally I'd hear about the plot and most recent episodes from friends, and when I heard how much of a HUGE twist it took from what it was at first I was glad I stopped watching it when I did.

My mother has watched this show for roughly 45 years. Oh, the horror.
Oh, Hollyoaks is so much worse. ;)
I never really got into Lost, I tried watching it but I didn't enjoy it at all; there was little which hooked me, so I never watched it. Saying that, some of my friends swear by Lost, and will probably be upset by its departure.
