It's a hell of a lot better than "lolblood". They're going have to search deep in their ass to find a reason why all those other people fighting Worgen didn't turn into Worgen for a good 5 years while at the same time, Gilneas did.
uhhh.....do you realize, as ive told others, and YOU multiple times, that according to chriz metzen the curse is ancient and comes from the worgen? and is related to an ancient druid sect that worshipped the wolf god goldrinn to turn into wolves (read the gilneas questing thread i made). seriously, and its true, the curse does come from worgen blood making contact with your skin.
its like noone listens.
Yeah, but a lot of people had been fighting Worgens for a lot of time but no one ever become one.
game mechanic? again, your cahr is wearing armor, it blocks the blood. and only melee fighters would risk getting blood on them. they can just say the armor your char and people in wow wore prevented any blood from getting on their skin.
simple.
So why do all the Worgen guards (wearing armor btw) turn into Worgen? Armor doesn't block liquid nearly as well as solids.
All in all, I don't trust that that is why Worgen become Worgen.

its like noone listens. also, your char is wearing armor. armor prevents the blood from getting on you. and just because you're fighting a worgen doesnt mean they're gotta spray blood on you.Um, Sold, have you ever watched a 'real' fight? Where when someone cuts someone, particularly in a major vein, the blood just sprays and can possibly fountain everywhere; even with some of the full bodied helms, you'd still get the liquid in through the visors or the face guards. It's an interesting twist, but there has to be a bit more then just 'the blood automatically passes the curse from touch'; otherwise, no one can fight a worgen without being infected by these Gilneas worgens.

i dont know inarus says that it quote "seems that the worgen curse is passed by their blood getting on you".
Well, we still don't have the full details. We will have to wait a little more to know everything.

Then it's definitely more then just that, probably something that will be explained in the full Beta when it comes out(remember, Alpha is just the start of things).

So this Inarus is the ultimate say on all things? This is alpha people, and Inarus is not Blizzard. Thus, I don't trust anything he says until I play it myself.
Who's with me?

True, he can't have the full details of what Blizzard is doing/is going to do about worgens.

Gotta agree with my man Funden right here.
I mean, it's one thing to tell us things that Inarus said. That's cool, I can dig that, and I respect that. For all I know he could be right, or he could be wrong. Nothing wrong with some speculation now and then. However, Soldrethar, don't try to fall back on Inarus every time somebody proves you wrong. The whole argument about armor blocking blood? Adamsm gave a perfectly logical and reasonable explanation as to why your theory about a player's armor blocking Worgen blood is invalid, and all you replied with was a fall-back response of "Well Inarus said...".
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be a jerk, nor am I trying to flame anybody, but it's seriously very frustrating to have a debate with somebody who can not accept it when he is wrong. It's not that "no one listens", it's because sometimes you become so adamant in believing that you are right that it becomes a moot point to even try and reason with you.

Man, why bother with Draenei
now
when they couldn't even get it together in their own damn expansion?Troll harder.
Partially, they'll just concentrate on the NEs instead ;pOr high elves.
Let's just hope they don't go and make high elves
playable
.
There's probably a little bit more then that heh; but at least this does finally kill the idea that 'Standing near a worgen equals the transformation from the magic radiating off them' that a certain troll user was trying to spread a few months ago.
Shh! Don't talk about him, or he'll come back!
