That's awful :( This is a MMORPG! Emphasis on the
multiplayer
part!
Without those people, you wouldn't complete the run, you wouldn't get your badges, your loot, whatever.... I think at least hello and goodbye isn't so bad!
(Even if you macro it!)
I play in a guild

I always greet with a "hi guys"
If it was a good run, I will give a "thanks for the group, guys".
If not, I will just drop group.
If someone was an arrogant
snot, I will call them out on it.

If the tank was a rude and arrogant twit (like half of them are, these days) then mentioning it means nothing anyway, besides, the tank has probably dropped the group without a word already.
With the current tank shortage we have the right to be arrogant twits: you need us, we dont need you. The rest of the group is just there to make my dungeon last shorter, if they dont meet that purpose(not talking about dps/GS here, just how they play, like slacking) im out. GL finding a new tank within the next 30 min. About the greeting stuff, I usually just say hi at the start and ty for the run, cyall at the end. Thats just manners imo.

I always start with 'Hi' or 'Afternoon' or something and always leave with 'Thanks for the nice run guys, cya later' (if it was a nice run ofc). I often get zero or one reply but sometimes you get other like-minded social people in the group who I can have a conversation with while we complete the run. I don't understand why some players think that just because it's with random people that you can't be social with them.
Afterall, surely a run through a dungeon you've done many times before is gonna be better if you can have some interaction with the other players, right?

Depending on my mood, I'll usually say "Hi" at the beginning of the run. Sometimes not.
I've been known to wave at people who are being vote-kicked.
I will thank everyone for the run, especially when I'm going on my undergeared mage and was low on the meters.

LOL, Mr. Tank, I don't need you or your arrogance.
You have a problem, it is your ego.
On my server, the ques are 8-10 min for dps, and there
are plenty of things to do while waiting for my frostie run...
Heroics are LOL face roll and have been for a while...
I would like to see how UBER you are with no DPS or Healz...
Post some screen shots of a Heroic 80 Dungeon you cleared by yourself...
This should be interesting....

Do the instance in about 1 hour. Which is why I allow them in my groups. (sorry, that sounded TOO arrogant). Which is why I think they are useful.
