Why should Wowhead do that? They have no obligation to the parents nor the children.
This is amusing.
They have a moral obligation. Wowhead should be thinking about what is best for the children.

I really don't think a large demographic of this site is made up of people 12 and below!
There is no way of knowing how old people who use this site are. Maybe you can get an idea from their posts, but what about the silent majority who read stuff here, but never post anything themselves?
But this isn't about numbers, this is about principle. One child's ruined life is one ruined life too many. Wowhead is morally obligated to make sure that kid has a chance at a healthy and normal life.

Porn sites are another problem altogether. But this isn't about those sites, this is about wowhead. Wowhead might not be able to stop other sites from having inappropriate content, but it can prevent that content from being shown on this site.

also sure there are lurkers but they only see content based on what us randomness posters post and the people of randomness seem pretty mature and aren't going to abuse it. Look at the threads most likly place you'll see it besides here might be change the word

/feedYoung children who have been negatively influenced by the word "penis" would probably not even be able to remember the first time they were exposed to the word, by the time their lives have been seriously messed up.
And even if this is a PG-13 site, there's nothing stopping younger people from using it. As said before, it is wowhead's moral duty to protect those children.

Actually false again. If you are gonna have a position, do some research.
Normal children have no attraction to the other sex until they enter the first phase of teen.
That is 12-13 years olds. By that time they do know what penis is and, the only difference is whether they learned it properly or from the local punk

A 6 years old should be exposed. They are the correct age. They can't enter the 'slippery slope', they understand AND when they grow up they will understand the dangers thus have better discipline.
Sex ed actually increases the average age people have sex for the first time. Ignorance is never the answer
