Personally , I love Shadowmoon Valley, it's just so....
It's a place where you can really see the struggle of the forces in Outland.

Booty bay, Silvermoon , and Howling Fjord. Booty bay because its near a waterfall and its basically STV with a hint of piracy. Silvermoon because of its architecture and music, and Howling Fjord because its extremely well done and the music is absolutely amazing.
nice mini-necro.
I would have to say Howling Fjord as well, the music and the design, flow so well together.
I'd have to say Stormwind has to be my all time favorite though. I remember walking into it for the very first time and being awestruck with everything.

Howling Fjord gets me every time; it really captures the atmosphere perfectly. However, as a zone, I hate it (don't ask me why, I really don't know).
I think the prettiest zone that I actually love might be Duskwood. It's pretty in a dark way and it really feels haunting. It's one of the few zones I turn music on for.(##RESPBREAK##)2##DELIM##Ashelia##DELIM##

Grizzly Hills, imo. I love the way the forest seems to stretch out, with the Iron Dwarf cities popping out the side, and the trolls ruins scattered about.

However, if I had to sit somewhere for 12 hours, I'd park myself in the Storm Peaks. Amazing music, and some great vistas.
I absolutely agree Berelain. I grew up in an area that is mountainous and snowy in the winter and Storm Peaks just nails it. The zone music is without equal among zone music in my opinion. I could find a random ledge of Titan ruin and sit for hours. Such wonder and solitude would be mine. :D
Cata did pretty well with some areas of the zones. I like the forested areas of Hyjal and some of the awesomely vibrant colors in Deepholm. However, I really don't like what happened to some parts of the world since Cata came out; namely the destruction of Ashenvale (that whole zone had an awesome wonder about it which is now partially ruined), the changing of Bloodvenom Post in Felwood and a few other areas.
Honorable mentions: Moonglade, Silverpine, STV, Swamp of Sorrows, and Duskwood.

Can see how this feeling would be amazing, but, replace LK with Nefarian and ICC with BwD.

Even if he isn't end-game content? Pfft. That and heavily lore-based. Even since I saw how Arthas developed from a pally into the LK in WC3, I've always wanted to kill that SoB.

The pre-cata hyjal. As in, the zone which wasnt offically there but could be accessed if you had some exploring skills(although that was fixed with no mans land later). Its a really beautiful zone, and a real shame it was never implemented.

For me it is Dun Morogh as a whole. But especially the ramp that leads to the Gates of Ironforge... Then the gigantic mountain king statute greets you... And that is the very first time i saw of WoW. My friend was playing wow on his computer when i visited him and he was flying to IF with his dwarven character on a gryphon (flight master gryphon) and that view got me into WoW. After 2 years i still get excited when i enter Ironforge
