What i think is a bit funny is the inconsistency between the undead raised in different areas, i mean, sylvanas is both evil and incredibly, incredibly stupid. She's evil because she's mind controlling farmers in the western plaguelands in order to force them to kill their friends and defenders, but on the other hand, in Silverpine forest she decides it's a good idea to find and ressurect Godfrey and his lil' buddies, but not mind controll them.
I'll give you a moment to take that in.
She ressurected the dudes from Gilneas that were killed because they wouldn't let a worgen rule their kingdom, Sylvanas thought that would motivate them to fight the worgen in undeath and help Sylvanas dominate Gilneas.
Redardedness, she has it, she thinks a dude who killed himself because he wouldn't serve a worgen let him and his kingdom be ruled by an undead elf? Genious!
But hey, it's not like it ended up biting her in the ass or anything, it ended up biting her in the back of the head, in the form of a bullet from Godfrey's blunderbuss.
After ressurected, some humans says things like "For the Dark Lady", while others says "No! What happened?". You can see this in the various quests envolving ressurecting. That means that Sylvanas don't control their minds (or not all, at least).
So, the farmers in WPL aren't forced to kill the Alliance, but since they are on the other side, and clearly see that the Forsaken are going to win, they decide to don't swim against the wave.
But the Gilneans seem prefer to rule their own kingdon, even in undeath, instead of giving it to the Horde.
So Sylvanas' strategy is to kill the humans, ressurect them and give the choice between "live" and fight beside the Forsaken, or "die" trying to defeat them all. Since that worked thus far, Sylvanas keep using it. (Of course, due to game mechanics, that "choice" happens instatly after the ressurection).

Looks to me like you're not very unbiased, either, as much as you seem to think so.

All Hail the Dark Lady!
I say she hasn't done enough to eradicate them pesky humans and punishing them for all the horribel atrocities they have committed against us, the forsaken. On a personal note she does have (or had) a legitimate beef with Arthas, a human - her killer - her resurrector - her tormentor, so any actions committed against him or any of his followers are all deserving.
Then we have that lovely little concentration camp the humans run up in the Highlands, a bit to close to the Undercity for comfort.
Nor can or should we allow the dog people to live so close to the southern border, much like the humans and dwarfs wouldn't allow the Horde to build a giant fortress out in the Elwynn Forest or outside that hole in the mountain the dwarfs call home.
So what if we use a little plague, it's a valid weapon choice considering the damn dwarfs have a (and probably more) nuke(s), just go look in the cargohold of The Skybreaker. Is that only for show and tell or what? Clearly a threat that needs to be dealt with. We should unleash the plague in Stormwind and Ironforge before it's to late and they can use it against us.
------
All things said tho I think Sylvanas is probably the most interesting of the faction leaders in the game and I doubt she will be killed anytime soon or ever for that matter. I like her, it's nice to have a leader that does something besides standing around in their capitals or crying like that little girl Jaina. Lets face it, Sylvanas is like Badass-Action-Barbie! Gotta love that.

Sylvanas is... a bigger %^&*!@ bag than Gromm. And that is saying A LOT!
"Lets keep manufacturing plague to wipe out the living!" Yeah... I think she was with that crazy scientist that died in the fight for the undercity, and lied about it :/

Which blood elf does Varian treat like a little sister? (Sorry for a little off topicness)
Valeera Sanguinar.
On topic: I like where they're going with her, really... Reminds me of Maiev. (that she doesn't have anything left after having "caught the prey") Wonder how it'll all end though.
