It doesn't have to be within Wowhead, just be sure to include "http://" or it will automatically add "http://www.wowhead.com/" in front of the link. Thats also why links like "item=12345" works.
But thought I would add the rest of the tags I've found which haven't been mentioned yet.
text
Bigger heading-like text, which is used in this guide. Doesn't work in the preview, but will in the final guide.
Creates a small picture of any image uploaded to Wowhead, which you can click to show a bigger version in the same window with the text underneath. The ID is in the URL of the picture.
\text\
"display=block" will make the width of the box 100% instead of fitting the text. Also works in normal forums.
"url=" will change the link when clicking the name instead of the default http://www.wowhead.com/user=name
"blizzard=true" will make a blue collapsible box for blizzard quotes. Should be used with "url" to link to the original post. Doesn't work in the preview.
Edit: Forgot about which creates a link to the forum rules
. Completely useless for guides, but it's there.

Ah, thanks for the correction on the URL thing. Silly me ^_^
There's also align=center/right for quotes
I can't test it but I think this should work on the forums for you guys too.
In these ones you can also use collapse=true.
If you're going to use these tags please ensure that you have a source for the quote that is an official Blizzard source, not just a blue tracker.(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##asakawa##DELIM##

Just some more kind-of-useless tags.
text
Used to define a paragraph like HTML. Not needed for Wowhead. Adds some space before and a line break after. Only difference I found was the space before is a little smaller than a double line break.
class=
color
Can be used in \ (including \
Bijou's Belongings
links), headings, \, \ (even though it gets messed up), and possibly more tags, to change the text color to the class, quality, or skill colors without the \ tag.
And you are right.
Align in quote boxes works in the forums too.
Now, asakawa, use your awesome mod powers and tell me how to make an image map
like this
.

asakawa
As far as I can tell that's just an HTML image map. Only admins have the ability to put actual HTML on the site so that's something that (as far as I'm aware) isn't available to you or I.

Was suspecting that, just though it would be cool if it was possible.

I'm trying to figure this out, but I can't seem to solve the problem...
How do you put URLs inside tabs?
EDIT: I solved that problem, I forgot to put the "/url"... but now I have another problem, I want to put multiple tables in my guide, but when I start the first tab in the 2nd one, it puts the title I write in the first tab box. Alone. (So it basically ignores the first one and writes over it) Help!

\s and \s are different. I think you're just talking about \s and nesting one set of tabs within another?
If so then your problem is likely just one of closing your BBCode tags properly.
code:
It can get confusing when you're nesting lots of complicated tags within each other but just be sure to have a closing tag for every opening tag and remember that all tags are closed in the opposite order to which they were opened.

I mean having like... 2 Separate tab... Err, windows?

You need to give the different tabs different names or it will get mixed up. If that's the problem.

How? :(
Sorry, I'm new at this.

\tabs name="Unique name one"]
\tab name="Unique tab name A"]
content
/tab]
/tabs]
\tabs name="Unique name two"]
\tab name="Unique tab name B"]
content
/tab]
/tabs]
green is when tags open and red is when they close.
The names of the \ and \s are each unique.

I absolutely know this has been answered before, but I can't seem to find where it was answered, so i'll ask again:
How do you put the icons next to your \ tags in guides?
And... How do you get the talent tree pictures in which you can link the actual Wowhead talent tree in the picture?
I hope those were clear enough to understand, if not i'll attempt to elaborate later.

Right thanks. Good response time.

Changing the size of s will make the icon into a button identical the the ones in the talent calculator, and the text will be the URL. Like this for shamans
Earthquake
spell=61882

Yeah, but if only there was a way to add the counter bubble on the bottom right to show how many points are in it. With that and a background image attribute for divs or table cells we could make the appearance of a fully functional talent calculator.

This is awesome to know...
Bah, I !@#$ed this up. One second...
Alright, I need some help with this. Can you help me out Asakawa? Wanna be able to post Hunter-related stuff on the Hunter forums.
(And Deathwing-related stuff on the Deathwing fight)
Apparently it only works within the guide /sigh.(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##asakawa##DELIM##(fixed the quote for you)
