if I was the one planing to build a mosque somewhere in manhatten I would of chose a location where there wouldnt be protests outside the front door.
The sad reality is that if this center had been built almost anywhere in America, there would have been protests outside the front door. If not for this reason, then for another. Google mosque construction around the country and see for yourself. Allowing those protests to steer your decision making is giving them credence, as I said before.
America is a nation built on mutual respect, equality, and tolerance -- we should be up in arms that anyone is pressuring this group on religious grounds, if anything counts as "Un-American" (a term that gets thrown around all too often), this does.
If there's anything that
should
be protested, it is the bigotry and intolerance shown to these people.
