I do so love me a good hatchet job! The first quote was related to the first sentence in my post, which you conveniently left out.
As to the second quote, you ignored my other reason for posting.
I do
so
hate to quote goshadstep2lose, buuuuuuuuut
obvious dodging is painfully obvious
I asked what may make him believe he shouldn't drop the flag. Maybe he said a logical reason after I had put him on ignore, I really don't know. Maybe someone here could have come up with that logical reason. That's what I meant by the thought process thing.

I'll be honest goshad, I lol'd. Though I fail to see what your point is Monjaru...
Edit: Wow Monjau, two times in a row tha tI can quote goshadstep2lose? That's a little much.

Irrelevent thread is still irrelevent.

Also...

Wow. I just explained several reasons why it's NOT irrelevent, and you promptly ignored them. Either you're trolling, or you've just lost 50 IQ points. Either way, it's not worth my time to respond to you.

I must say, your presence on these forums has truly helped me to understand goshad and why it must be so fun to be him. Congrats.

Is that a complement? Regardless, I'll take it as one, considering I love winning arguments, and goshad wins almost every argument.

You think that being able to (poorly) quote goshad against me twice is impressive? Including this post, I can count a couple DOZEN times I could have quoted him (properly) to respond to you. But since I don't like to go back and edit posts, I'll start with this:
Is that a complement? Regardless, I'll take it as one, considering I love winning arguments, and goshad wins almost every argument.
wooooosh
you hear that?
that is the sound of my post going over your head
Edit: Also, if you dislike goshad as much as you claim to, you may want to stop the argument because I'll bet he's getting an e-peen boner watching this conversation about how great his quotes are.

C: You took many of those posts from the same post to make it look like more things. (See? I can look at the psychological aspects too!)
And you wonder why Shad made a retort that you considered immature? Look at that statement, really. I mean... Really. Shad didn't make them seem more things. He pointed actual responses, the fact that they're from the same post is utterly IRRELEVANT when you ignored them.
Many of those reasons are illogical, repetitive, or not helpful. obvious biases are painfully obvious
My reponse:
Maybe the warrior liked carrying the flag, and was having fun
he's having fun.
Repetitive.
We don't know. We can't know
Not helpful.
Maybe he didn't think this, but a Druid is also a much superior supporter than a Warrior
Not a feral druid, therefore illogical. Feral druids have stuns as CC's, and that's it for support.
Repetitive? Well, it's the truth. Before you asked for generallistic, rhetoric stuff ("Why do people do stupid stuff"), you asked us what our oppinions were about the warrior. There your answers are. And of course, you ignored that, didn't you? They're against your ideas. Oh, the horror, they must be all wrong.
We don't know, we can't know is actually more helpful EVEN TO YOUR OWN EYES. Want to know why? Because actual responses to your question got your oh-so cold indiference and a "Repetitive." as the only remark. So, the users give their oppinion, the person who asked refuses it HIMSELF, and than wonders about lack of answers? Yeah. OK.
And of course, being feral means Cat Form and Bear form become your two options, all other spells on your spellbook are deleted and you can't change that without paying 1000g or 1-50g on a respec/dual spec. And you think you're so "superior"? Guess what?

I was on my level 68 feral druid in warsong gulch today, and a warrior grabbed the flag. I asked him to drop it, and he didn't answer. I asked him again, still no answer. Then after he went graveyard side, he said "no" and refused to elaborate. Then a boomkin comes along and pops starfall. I stunlock him in order to supress it's effect so MAYBE the warrior could at least get the cap.
You were super serious about carrying the flag. You demanded it from him both at the base and again when you safely reached your own. Then you stick to the moonkin as the warrior runs ahead. You emphasise that your "heroic" and "prompt" actions will "MAYBE" let the warrior "at least" (what's at most?) get the cap.
Oh goody. I love it when words are stuffed down my throat. Stunlocking a boomkin is heroic and prompt? Alao, I said maybe, because the 3 ticks of starfall that got off got him down to (accroding to him) a thrid of his health. And the at least part is a figure of speech, although I suppose at most would be him getting ironman.
He goes on without me, while I deal with the boomkin. Then he gets killed by a rogue and claims I abandoned him because he wouldn't drop the flag.
Whether or not the warrior is justified in this, it clearly made you upset. As not only did you include it in your point, but it also got it's own paragraph. Me pressing enter makes it so much more important? It didn't upset me, I was giving out the entire situation.
I had 1k more HP than he did, and I am a druid, so I am like the ultimate flag carrier.
Justification.
Druids aren't the best flag carriers? Enlighten me.
I could understand if he thought he would die if he dropped it, or if he was a noob, but he said "im not sayin druids arent better fcs" after I gave him several reasons as to why we were. Then he told me I was a retard troll and says he doesn't feed trolls.
So you got into an argument with him in battleground chat. Later in this thread you said that maybe he did offer a good reason, but you had him on ignore. Meaning that the chat got very heated, and you got very upset. Again, not saying if this is justified, just pointing out that UGOTMADBRO.
I put him on ignore because he was being a negative influence on my playing experience. That's what the ignore function is for correct? I didn't GETMADBRO I ignored him because he was trying to make me GETMADBRO.
Why do people refuse to drop the flag for a CLEARLY superior flag carrier?
I mean a WARRIOR got killed by a ROGUE. AFAIK warriors are rogues counter classes.
I underlined the only question in your OP. But you still capitalized "CLEARLY" when describing your own supposed superiority. Then in your little jab at this warrior that so pissed you off, you had to point out that he got killed by something you think he countered. In caps again.
Yeah. I thought he was an idiot. What a shocker.
But let's isolate your question again:
Why do people refuse to drop the flag for a CLEARLY superior flag carrier?
What are you really looking for here? The rest of your post has been a retelling of a situation that seriously made you upset, to the point of ignoring another player and posting on the forums. You use curiosity to hide your real question. Which is a search for validation from the community, concerning your actions in this situation. You want justification, you want people to slap you on the back and say "It's ok, that dude was an idiot". You basically don't want to feel alone in being upset at this warrior. You wanted to spend a thread talking about the warriors supposed "inferiority" in flag carrying, and "idiocy" in arguing.
TL;DR
This is QQ
Sorry, but logic wins over natural instinct for me. I know that I logically did the correct thing. Why do I need others to tell me I did the right thing? And also, why would I come to the forums for that? I had enough "QQ support" in /bg.

Two things to point out here. One, I already replied to this, I didn't read it correctly. Two, them being from the same post is relevent, because logic dictates that he would quote the answers, and leave them be. Not disect responses in order to make it seem like there are more there. That's a psychological thing that's supposed to make me feel overwhelmed.
Many of those reasons are illogical, repetitive, or not helpful. obvious biases are painfully obvious

When did I ask oppinions about the warrior?
We don't know, we can't know is actually more helpful EVEN TO YOUR OWN EYES. Want to know why? Because actual responses to your question got your oh-so cold indiference and a "Repetitive." as the only remark. So, the users give their oppinion, the person who asked refuses it HIMSELF, and than wonders about lack of answers? Yeah. OK.
Not quite sure how to respond to that....Also, according to your logic, you're nerdraging right now with capitalizing the even to your own eyes part. I didn't refuse it, I narrowed down the question as I got answers that weren't what I was looking for. If you'll look, I've restated the question several times, rewording and working it to what I actually wanted to know.
And of course, being feral means Cat Form and Bear form become your two options, all other spells on your spellbook are deleted and you can't change that without paying 1000g or 1-50g on a respec/dual spec. And you think you're so "superior"? Guess what?
Cat form and bear form ARE my only two options, discarding the human form. I don't even have any points in resto yet. My healing touch hits for about 1000 on a 3 second cast, rejuv for about 200 a tick, and regrowth is 2 second cast for 600 base, and I don't even remember about the hot, but it isn't that much either. Healing the warrior is just silly no matter how you look at it. I'm not going to be able to keep him up through a druid with all of his cooldowns popped. The best I could have hoped for at the time was stunlock so the the warrior could have some time to get away fromt he starfall and his treants were attacking me.

did you bring enough denial for the rest of the class?
Sorry I meant to give it you in private, but I guess everyone saw it. Oh well, you can come out of the denial closet now I guess goshad.
