*I* don't take the game so serious that I will server transfer, leaving my friends behind to get some damn pixels from another guild.
Now...stop pointing at others people sawdust and take out that damn beam out of your own eyes.
*claps*

As I said, I understand that it's just my opinion. I didn't attempt to paint it as anything but that.
However, just as you clearly consider
your
opinion more important, so I consider
mine
more important.
When the hell did I say that? If you're going to attack someone's argument, don't put word in his mouth.

Yeah, I said that.

Yeah, I said that.
I'm still confused how my name got in there since your post didn't have it... Apparently, he would much rather debate against me, even if it's not my argument.

I loved TBC. The raids where awesome, all of them, and you could even Raid old content and still get a challenge (and even a few pieces of loot, some naxx40, bwl stuff where on par with kara drops) So the world was extremely huge and you had a vast amount of content to play.
In WOTLK the world shrunk. With every new tier, all old content becomes meaningless, and you have just one place to raid and everything beneath that is pointless.
Every TBC raid> any Wotlk raid. Compare karazhan with naxx. Yeah naxx is cool, but its a re-used raid, and still, its not as cool as Karazhan. OS vs Gruul? Gruul wins, no contest. EoE vs Maggy? Maggy is somewhat cooler. SSC+TK vs Ulduar? yes Ulduar was really awesome, but thats 2 raids vs one, so again, TBC wins.
Moving on to MH vs TOC? rofl, mount hyjal is the best raid ever created, toc doesnt stand a chance. Zul Aman vs a re-used Onyxia? hehe, ZA all the way. And BT vs ICC? We can call that a draw.
And "bonus raid" RS vs Sunwell? Sunwell wins offcourse.

I like the outdoor game and quests
- phasing environment
- landscapes
Some things I did not like
- seeing naxxramas and onyxia recycled.
- the TOC patch. It broke my raiding spirit and I've been guildless since.

I am glad Cata will be different, and perhaps in some ways the easier to obtain gear in latter Wrath raids was engineered to ensure enough people geared to raid in Cata.Only for your first toon; after that, all of your alts will end up the same more then likely, getting the gear that no one else needs... which happened all the time in BC in certain of the raids.

Don't even get me started on the huge flaw that is the "loot" ship.No different then some of the other Loot Pinata's out there.
And....and this is for everyone who 'complains' about ICC: You do all realize that if you don't like the Buff, and find it way too 'easy'.... You can talk to Garrosh and Varian, and tell them to get their butts out of the Citadel, and go back to normal level for it. Sorry, but when the option exists, and people still &*!@# about 'easiness' I have to laugh.

I have a few questions:
What do you feel is the purpose of gear? A - to win a fight? or B - to survive a fight? In this, I am asking do you feel that gear should be the main component for winning a fight, or should gear only allow a player to survive that fight and skill be the main component to winning the fight. I feel that the ending of Wrath was about A and less about B.
Do you feel that each raid should have a rising sense of complexity to each encounters. Should Naxx be just as complex as ICC? Should ICC require more skill then Naxx/Ulduar/TOC? (This is a non-gear question; it assumes that no matter the encounter, the raider's gear is on par.) If you feel that ICC should be more complex, then how does gearing through heroics fit into this scheme?
To me, gearing for ICC through heriocs AND gearing for Naxx through Heroics suggests that they are the same raid, just bigger numbers are attached to different looking encounters. And that is what happened. Two raids, a year apart, can be geared through the same means. It doesn't matter is a boss drops a 200 level piece of gear, or if that boss drops an emblem that allows the purchase of a 232 level gear.

It's happened already, but nostalgia has wiped it from people's minds.
