It is, except I've never really thought about it, since I don't like messing with other people's characters' backstories. I know a lot about Ysolde, since she's my character, but I'm hesitant to work with Isabel because she's yours. :P
I've got a friend who might be plugging me with an idea soon... if he ever gets back *blargh*

I wouldn't really mind if you decided to do so. I didn't really have any idea what her backstory was because she didn't have any memories xD
Well, what's your favorite aspect of Warcraft? Maybe you should start there?

It's not that easy for me. =/ I need to have a cohesive idea, like a stringing thought. For example, from one of my other stories, "Elli gets captured by Desarith, the latter of whom gets into a fight with Arquin", It's a simple plot I can expand upon with setting/elements/etc.
As long as I have that plot idea, I can do almost anything, but working with a specific theme (like characters or setting) gets me nowhere. T.T

This probably won't help but I find starting with a very simple idea or general theme and letting it grow is actually fun. Think of it as a personal challenge if anything, plus it gets the creative juices flowing.

Well... it probably would, but my brain doesn't work like that. It seems to fit better when I've got something to click puzzle pieces into.
Think of the plot as the board, and the characters, scenery, and details as the pieces. That's how I roll. =)
