Hold off a few days. Even if you like it and really want to put it out there, don't. Either write the next chapter, or just another story.

If you're writing them way fast, you could release them one a day, like I did with Black Walker.

Yeah, I guess I'll hold off. I want Makorr to keep up with it time-line wise anyway. (Although, I have the time-travel excuse at the end if I need it.)
But how is it looking so far? I'm not going too Mary-Sue on you, am I?

So after... like.. five hours of deciding between first person or third person and rewriting the first few paragraphs ten times, finally started writing my new piece.
Might be done tomorrow.

I've been managing to read people's fanfics now, a lot more than I used to. <3 I don't really read yours, Atik, because iirc they're linked to Makorr, a roleplay I'm not following, and I tried to read yours, Adamsm, but there's just so much... vastness. Nonetheless, I'm taking a more active role in that part of the community, because it can be refreshing to read others' writing.

I just find it to be sad. I had an
excellent
first page.
But it degraded in the confusion of figuring out how to properly introduce and describe seven other characters. So I hit the restart button.

Glad to hear it Patty, any bit of advice and critiques are welcome to any fan fiction writer. Another voice will only strengthen the community. Just don’t bother with half of my stuff, I am terrible.
Also, yeah I have put up a few pages of certain works and then realize, “Boy, this is taking my attention away from other stuff and pretty much sucks,” And so I stop. Thats my reason for having what, three series unfinished.

I explained everything Makorr-related already, and now it has just sort of become its own story. About the only things left to show are some of my specific moments with other characters (*cough*Hyper*cough*molesting*cough**hack*) and my soul shield.
