Still got that damn headache.I heard about this invention called aspirin, Oni. Should try it sometime ;)
I generally dislike taking drugs and whatnot, prefer to let my body deal with it.
Plus I hate pills.

Side effects of painkillers is pain. It has a chance of working, and a chance of making it worse, usually not worth it unless you feel like the pain you're in could not in any way get worse.
Much better to just drink some water and take a nap.

Some of them do yes. Not all. My mother is a nurse and my father a doctor, so I usually get it from them.

Still, painkillers hide the pain, they don't actually take it away. Getting some sleep might actually "cure" the headache. Much better than just hiding it.

From a nurse that I know, "Painkillers work differently for different people, some people get the same amount of pain control from aspirin or paracetamol that others need codeine or morphine to deal with." Painkillers are designed to hide the pain until the bodies natural defences come to the fore and stop whatever is causing the pain and are not designed to get rid of the pain.

That depends on why you're in pain though. Anyway I'm just saying from experience, if you can avoid the painkillers you should.
