Marked for death
That's probably the problem right there. The talent isn't exactly what I call useful.

But yeah, someone with 9,000 achievement points and terrible gear isn't exactly someone I'd take advice from in this game.
Good job attacking someone for what they have on their profile (attacking people for having terrible gear 3 weeks into an expansion LOL). I've hidden a good chunk of my character profiles due to this mentality that seems to have been bred among WoW Official Forum goers and whoever it spreads to. But hey, if you're going to play "attack by armory" where the hell is your Hunter in full 359s?
In all honesty the talent is absolute crap, and it's one of the issues that plagues Marksmanship Hunter (lol guess why their overall damage sucks). It could honestly have been replaced by a significantly better talent, perhaps one that actually interacts with Master Marksman, the talent it's linked to?
Thoughts from another Hunter:
6. Marked for Death- this low in the tree abilities should not be so bland, only one point is really needed in this to be effective. While it’s nice not to have to use a GCD its current form does not warrant 2 Talent Point’s and its spot within Marks and would be the perfect place to put either an armor bypass for Steady or a Focus regeneration mechanic. Or make it add Widow’s Venom and give it a chance to apply a secondary effect (Disarm+Mana Burn) similar to what we lost with destruction of Sting Choices.

Perhaps if you spent more time actually playing the game rather then; writing intricate lore and boss mechanics for raid zones you've created; flirting with other men via internet forums; creating hilarious 'epic lulz ftw rofl i has cake ninja vs pie' patch notes for your account profile; I'd actually respect anything you have to say. For someone to have 47k forum posts, and to think very highly of themselves as both a WoW player in general, and a Hunter, its pretty laughable when you click on someone's armory and see the wrong enchant on their ranged weapon.
Did you ever perhaps think I don't want to dump cash on a ilvl 333 ranged weapon? Or that I crafted the scope myself because it cost the least amount to make at the time and simply used it for convenience?
Do not immediately assume based off those such things. I'm gradually building towards my final gear set, and I do just fine on the current content that I'm progressing through. When I finally create a gear set that I find to be the set I will use for heavier progression like raiding, then I will choose to properly enchant and gem my gear and optimize as much as humanely possible.
No, based on your posting attitude. You immediately have to scream "lolbad" while putting your elitist analysis on the case, and in the process consider any such posts by me null and void over something like a weapon enchant. For instance, I don't attack your posts because you use PvP gear on what looks to be your PvE set. I find it quite unbecoming.
But who am I to judge? It's your forum reputation. If you want to be disliked on this board, that's your choice.
but I highly recommend not replying to this thread till your gear jealousy has subsided.
That wasn't what my response was about at all. I was attacking your credibility because you chose to attack mine. Your superiority complex will be looked down upon here: it just makes you out to be an &*!@#$%.
Also man, rofl at that thread you posted the quoted section from. It's nothing but clueless people who can't adapt to change crying about their beloved Hunter class. That thread basically sums up everything that's wrong with the average person that plays Hunter. Notice how nobody from an actually decent guild is posting there complaining. Its just clueless casuals and people obsessed with PvP.
On the PvE front one of our specs is performing just fine, but guess what happened the last time we had a spec that was performing like (actually more) that?
In addition, some of those problems are indeed issues that should be looked into. It's no different from the pain that is Ruin 2.0 for Warlocks (Improved Soul Fire) or the PvP mobility issues Assassination Rogues have, or perhaps the issues mages are dealing with (posted by a mage from Vodka, no less). The fact you believe only players you consider worthy are entitled to an opinion is what's going to in fact ruin your own credibility.
The only thing more hilarious then reading the complaints is reading people's ideas for new skills, or talent trees, or any other Hunter fixes - the ones on your profile included. There's a reason none of those people have jobs designing/balancing MMOs.
Well, my talent trees are actually a work in progress. I just search for issues and see what can be done about them. They may not be the correct way to deal with an issue but it sure beats just spewing complaints all the time. It also puts my creative mind to work. In addition, your opinion is a pretty worthless one considering you don't give constructive feedback or point out exactly why the ideas are wrong. Also, do you honestly think the current team is doing a good job? It's hard to balance an MMO and that is fact.
For someone who seems to have a problem with ideals born from the typical 'WoW Offical Forum' goer, its pretty ironic you would link that thread.
I mostly dislike posting attitudes like your own. There are indeed posts on the Official side that are quite insightful, or funny, or has some other quirk I can relate to and enjoy. However, the same forums attract users quite similar to you who believe that their opinion is supreme and attempt to put the "lie" to other people's posts by pointing out their flaws while "parading" about (not so much on the Wowhead side, but we have some, like you). Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but attacking such opinions without true cause will only ruin yours.
E: Forgot one thing. I don't actually consider myself that great. I always feel there is room to improve, whether it involves my own playing skills, or the fact I could use a better laptop than a Dell Inspiron with Intel GMA (lol, wtb Asus G series). I hardly carry myself with pride and often don't consider myself (or try not to) any better than most of the other users around here, because why should I?

One last thing; I was wondering if a doctor has ever officially diagnosed you with Autism. If yes I'll just delete my posts and let you carry on. I'm truly sorry and really had no intentions of taking it this far, if so.
Nope. What are you trying to get at?
It seems like 'Fonlithien, The Hunter's Lodge' is the place for male-on-male flirting, nerd humor, and general idiocy regarding the Hunter class. Is it really difficult for you to keep that separate?
Oh hooray, more of the same posting attitude. Fonlithien actually isn't too much of a Hunter discussion thing (though we do occasionally touch on it, because hey, it's on the board). It's more the equivalent of say, the "Recycle Bin" on Off-Topic.
Oh also, apparently there's actually females posting in the thread where you so aptly claimed to be "male on male flirting" (though to be honest, I'm not exactly that desperate anyways, but making such an attack is just plain asinine).
Have you ever thought that you're just wasting your time because none of your changes are ever going to be implemented, and hundreds of other people on forums all over the world are posting their "NEW HUNTER TALENT TREE IDEA PLZ READ"? I mean I understand the desire to be creative, but is your life really in such a sad place that your only creative outlet is designing your own raid bosses, lore, and talent for a video game you don't even officially work on? That's pretty depressing, man. I'm starting to feel bad about baiting you and how hard you've taken it.
To be honest I don't really care. It's not like I have much better to do if all my homework and study (and so on) are done, and I'm waiting for realms to come up on a Tuesday, for instance. I get plenty of free time, you'd be surprised.
Also, trying to defend your posts by pretending to come off as a troll? That's a good one. It's not like I haven't seen that many times before.
Alright then, talk to me in 6-8 months when T12 comes out and you're just finishing your Heroic gearset. That's what
you're
(fixed) on pace for. Till then, don't bother commenting on things you haven't experienced or haven't a clue about.
Again with making assumptions and trying to assert superiority. Did you ever perhaps think I'm casually gearing up because I'm waiting for friends to level or something? Do you ever think outside the box?
I feel really bad for anyone that's carrying you through heroics right now. I bet you supply them with the same "My gear is really good right now for ME and I'm doing just fine for ME! Someday I'll make my gear better but I'll do it for ME!" attitude and excuses. What a shame.
Actually, I quite often top the meters, although I will definitely admit it's not completely a matter of my skill but the fact Survival just does a broken amount of dps at the moment. Don't make baseless assumptions. Like I said before, it's quite unbecoming.
And based on your posting attitude you're the type of person that screams "I play this game for the social elements and to promote myself and my opinions. Please ignore the fact that 90% of my posts that happen to be about the game are actually reworded copy/pastes from people that actually spend time playing the game." I'm considering your opinions null and void because you're absolutely clueless, your ranged enchant was just an example of that.
I play the game to enjoy it, for both the social elements and for the gameplay that I generally enjoy (questing, dungeons, dueling, eventually even raiding). I spend quite a bit of time playing the game. I consider your opinions null and void because you chose to make such an attack and immediately assume I'm bad because of it while refusing to think outside the box, as mentioned above.
Also, you know, if you weren't someone who was more adept at posting on forums and making excuses than actually doing research and playing the game, you'd probably know that due to the PvP glove bonus, the 2 piece PvP set bonus, and the lack of decent Chests/Gloves (unless you get lucky with raid drops), the PvP set is actually a viable alternative in PvE. I gained roughly 300 dps using those items over PvE blues. If you ever get any of those pieces of gear, feel free to experiment and let me know how much of an increase it is for you! Nice attempt at picking my armory apart, though. Its too bad it backfired and now you look even more clueless.
True, but considering your other gear, it shouldn't be too difficult to simply get an item to replace it or perhaps get something like
this
(example piece. This does not mean it's actually a desirable piece of gear to use). Perhaps you're between upgrades so that's why I gave you the benefit of the doubt instead of saying something like "lol your post is stupid because you use PvP gear." I didn't. Do you understand?
Actually on second thought, maybe you should just play the game instead of getting worked up over a forum post; Lord knows you need the practice.
Well based on your having to respond to me, you seem to get quite worked up over forum posts. Though then again, you might just be an instigator based on your post history.
E: Topic's being derailed. Lol.
E2: Nice edit. I was about to report the post because that's a quite offensive.

just make sure you plan out your path before you do commit an "Epick Phailure" with your Valor Points!
Haha. I knew you'd get around to doing that. Surprised you didn't attempt to attack my guild name right on the off. And the "dream gear profile" is a joke profile for a little thread I made. It was intended to show in general what not to give your Hunter.
the other part is nerdy flirts towards girls that weigh 200 + some amount of pounds.
I think Nykidda will have something to say about that. I'll link the thread in Fonlithien and laugh as they descend like a swarm of locusts on your semi-trolling-like posts.
Either way, I'm done feeding you. I got an incredibly good laugh out of your posts. It was almost as fun as that "debate" I had a couple weeks ago.
Afterthought: What, do you honestly think I'm stupid enough to actually fall for your posting that pretty much qualifies as trolling and provoking? You'll probably defend it with some "totally original" argument and continue to call me a scrub. Oh well.

You're just digging yourself a bigger hole at this point. Don't say I didn't warn you.
