Spell reflect / crit metaRight now, until they fix the broken "More blue than red" requirement, we're limited in our Meta choice. We can either have Spell Reflect, stun / fear reduction, root / snare reduction, or mastery and run speed. Since Mastery is pretty lol for SV, Spell Reflect is the only one that could possibly hold any benefit in a raid environment, even a small, tiny 1% chance on spells.Reforged 293 mastery -> 219 crit Again, Mastery is lolworthey for SV. This is the preferred reforging approach. Stat weights vary depending on character, and looking him up and figuring his out is way more work than I care about doing, but as a general rule, crit is always > mastery for SV. (your mileage may vary)
No ICC heroic experience or any raid experience what so everWhat does ICC heroic experience have to do with Cata? Nothing. That's right. Call him bad because he has a terrible forum attitude and is rather elitist, but not because he has no experience in a raid that is now and will forever be obsolete.
Now, I'm one of the biggest proponents of letting this thread die, but seriously guys, name calling someone because of their armory or their achievements is one of the biggest plagues to the Hunter community there is. This thread should be seen by all and damn near every participant should feel ashamed for the name calling, mud flinging and trash talking that has been done.

54 Mastery + Run speed bonus allows you to pick up 35 agility over 25 agility and run speed bonus on boots. 54 mastery 10 agility > 54 crit. Assuming you're going for the run speed bonus which is useful in raiding (especially cata) and a quality of life improvement when not.
Although this topic has gone WAYYYYYYYYY OT, I thought I'd pipe in just because there is so much misinformation and there are a lot of terrible trolling attempts.
The crit/spell reflect meta is currently the best that we can be using for the following reasons: (1) it doesn't have a stupid requirement like the new Chaotic (until they revert the change to it), (2) crit is our best stat outside of Agi, (3) run-speed is NOT as vital to raiding as it once was due to Aspect of the Fox and the ability to get Disengage down to a fairly manageable CD.
Also, if reforging mastery into crit makes a player bad, I believe you've just called nearly every hunter in the top 1,000+ guilds in the world bad.

Not necessarily. Last time I checked a lot of the top hunters were reforging into mastery. Dunno why, and that might have changed.
I've also seen Hunters prioritizing to get to that Haste sweet spot after hit, then stacking Agility.
At this point I still think too much is dependent on your gear for anything to be definitive. I've seen some odd numbers being thrown around on both elitistjerks.com and from my own femaledwarf.com tests.
