For subtley what would you say is finisher priorities?
Recuperate > SnD > Evic > Rupture> EA? Should subtley use EA at all since it depends upon meele damage?
Why SnD?
And no, EA is terrible.quick question... I know it's not in your recommended spec but if I were to take Waylay would it be better to use DP on the OH since they do almost the same thing or do the effects stack?
Do you mean crippling instead of deadly?

No, they dont stack, but not everyone is able to snare their opponent with waylay only and thats why they still take crippling on the oh.
Dont forget that waylay also reduces melee and ranged attack speed by 20%
In terms of general PvP, I'd probably lean towards Deadly. As many competitive arena comps, though, definitely want Crippling or Wound. DoTs at the wrong time can be
crippling
to some CCs.
Actually if you are capable of dropping crippling on your offhand, i suggest double wound.
Its better for swapping, since you'll have to restack deadly to 5 for it to become worthy.
This also means that any form of cc can make you drop your stacks of deadly and thus lowering deadly's value.

What spec u prefer sub or muti?
Both speccs looked appealing for me and i would have played whichever was better for my comp.
and what will u prefer when 4.0.6 comes out?
Currently leaning towards sub, just because of the buffs it got in damage.

Instant Poison:
This should be applied to a slow mh, because of its ppm.
Deadly Poison:
This should be applied to a fast oh, because it has a set 30% chance to be applied per strike.
Maybe I'm missing something, but doesn't it make more sense to put instant on the offhand as mutilate spec in order be able to apply crippling poison via shiv?

The only time you should shiv is when a rogue has Evasion up, (or similar things like that).

If I'm attacking a rdps class, I want crippling poison up on them at all times so they can't kite away.

Deadly Brew?

Deadly Brew?
Yeah.

What I mean is that Instant Poison will proc Deadly Brew, which will put the Crippling Poison on the target without losing dps, which Shiv does.

Shiv (with deadly on oh) -> deadly proccs on enemy (5 stacks) -> instant proccs -> crippling proccs.

But it takes time to get 5 stacks on someone. It doesn't immediately happen as soon as you open (and stacks are removed after mage ice block, pally bubble, rogue cos, etc.), and if you get snared immediately, it's very easy for any kiting class to get away.

Yeah, and if instant is on the offhand, if you shiv, instant poison and crippling are applied. If deadly is on the offhand and you don't have 5 stacks yet, when you shiv, only deadly is applied thus not guaranteeing a snare.

I dont remember having ever problem with the Crippling. Theres always FoK for that if really needed.
FoK is not really an option if you're trying to keep others, who are near your primary target, CCed.
Considering the damage is already good, and what assassination primarily lacks is mobility, it seems like the slight dps loss from switching which hand which poison is on would be worth it to keep your target near you more often.
