If your server is high, you wont be able to get Aeonaxx, maybe you can camp her every 24 hours.
Well that's not true. Plenty of people on very high population realms have been able to get him by just checking every now and again.
My friend did just the other day on Moon Guard, one of the highest pop. realms.
Just gotta keep at it!

Shattered Hand EU, 19.33 server time...
Still no sightings, 6 months of camping 1h-15h a day at random intervals, mostly on mornings & evenings / nights. Also 0 Blood Seekers, but 2 Xarionas so far. Gonna spend the upcoming night mostly on here to see if my luck fails me (yet again).. /sigh
(Disheartening note... I was leveling my shammy around here, unfortunately NPCscan was turned off and when I log back, the darn drake was cached. TIP: ALWAYS keep the addon ON even if it's alts..)

Spawned for me after camping for approx 512 hours over a span of a month. I camped spots South West 1 and South West 2 and picked Aeonaxx up at 6:53am (12/21/011) which npc scan picked up in South East 1. I was surprised to find that Aeonaxx could be picked up that far away by npc scan. Aeonaxx was very easy to kill as a level 85 fury warrior, I never went down 99% of my health and killed him little under a minute. :)

Been flying around Deepholm for about 1-2 hours a day on and off since release and never has my NPCscan even cached a dead body or a Blood seeker...
Lately I am starting to camp him more heavily, hoping to reach 150 mounts (I'm only 12 away!) before they come out with an official achievement for it.
I wish everyone luck in finding this rare booger. :)

Found Aeonaxx at 2:33 AM, at his northern right spawnpoint. This was found on the Silver Hand server by Darkaki.
Not even 30 mins after finding the Time-Lost Proto drake. I must be really lucky.

After at least two months of camping, the purple beauty is FINALLY mine.
At about 10:09 PM server time on Shadowmoon, I had just logged in after work to AFK camp while I ran to take a shower only to be greeted by NPC scan blaring as SOON as I loaded. I was sitting between the two southwest spawns, and he spawned at the left-northwest spawn. I think. I know it's horrible, but I tunnel visioned and just beelined to him. I know he was one of the northwest ones, so NPCscan has an AWESOME pick up radius.
VERY easy kill. My health was hardly touched.
Such a pretty mount C: I am such a happy hunter~

After months and months of camping ..then finally just giving up I ran into Aeonaxx today at 11:30 am server time on my hunter. Alleria server at the spawn spot straight out in front of the entrance to the temple (52, 64) area. I was on my way out to fish, npc went off and there he was. Fight only took a couple minutes.

Just got him on the server Hydraxis at 5AM server time, southwest corner of the temple of earth. I wasn't camping for him, I just decided to check on a whim and he spawned while I was flying around. Didn't capture any screenshots of the kill, it was 5AM and I was kind of freaking out and it slipped my mind. First Aeonaxx of 2012?

I hope my account of how I got this mount helps other mount farmers. I highly suggest that if you want this mount fly around the temple b/c I saw 3 other alliance characters spawn camping and none were even close to me when i started it.
I used to farm this at the start of cata and I spent days looking for this. Today I shrugged and decided to just fly around deepholm. I flew clock wise hitting each of the 5 spawn points (marked by npc scan), after about 30-45min I found it. It was on the south-west side of the temple near the quartzite basin but not directly on top of it. It was lower than the stonecore entrance, it was about as high as where the cliffs meet the temple pillars. These are estimations b/c when i saw it I got excited and focused on trying to click on it as fast as possible.
This screen shot is of me on the mount and one of when you loot it. It died in the needlerock chasm.

My guildy just happened across this gem while leveling his priesty on US-Malfurion around 10:30ish server time on Sunday January 8th. He was only lvl 82 at the time and went OOM pretty quick, but he got it and taunts me with the mount every chance he gets.
