I voted for "Moar Sunwell" but not for the reasons you listed, though they were good points. I, in all my biased, love everything involving the Sunwell and crave more of it. Those words "More Sunwell" used to be one of the things i said most with my old guild. >_> I want more lore and things to do interacting with it. Maybe Blizzard will take us back there? Maybe? /hope

Curious fact: Did you know there is a dungeon difficulty beyond Heroic? It was 'Epic,' and was able to be enabled with a small script. Unsure if it's still possible now, but it was in WotLK:
/script SetDungeonDifficulty(3);

From what I can see (on google anyways), the mode prevents you from doing dungeons, meaning it doesn't really effectively do anything.
Would've been nice to see them try something with it...but oh well.

I was getting nostalgic, and I noticed that a lot of what was in this thread seems to have come to pass. We should revise it and add new things we'd like to see.

You're the best necromancer a guy could ask for.
Looking back at this, it really does look like they listened. Especially in 5.1, holy crap. Soloer's wet dream.

Thanks guys. I updated the original post to reflect what has been implemented (even if the implementation is SIMILAR).

I have a suggestion:
MAKE. STATS. OPTIONAL.
For the love of God, don't force stat-tracking on everyone! Some people might like the idea of having a permanent record of how many times they've died and how much money they've spent on the AH. Others absolutely HATE this, regardless of whether they ever look at those stats or not. You know how to make everyone happy? Let them choose whether they want the game to track this data. Just a little tick-box in the character-creation screen would suffice.
Can this be added to the poll? Can we have a discussion about this? Can we send an ambassador to the B.net forums so we can shove this suggestion in the developers' faces?
EDIT: Also, can we get cross-realm mail and a cross-realm auction house, and replace cross-faction mail and paid faction transfers with an honest-to-god, Aldor/Scryers-style grind-for-enemy-faction-rep system for players who wish to become turncoats?

Those are better suited for another thread.

Please explain how / why having the statistics tab there affects you in any way, if you choose NOT to look at it? Its not like it pops up automatically when you log in. You have to CHOOSE to click that tab, so in effect, you already have exactly what you are asking for....or demanding that we "shove in the Dev's face"
I realize (from other posts) that you have your own little "quirky" style of playing your toons (no critter kills, no flight paths, ect), and thats fine. But you are wanting the Dev's to cater to
your
personal playstyle decision. In a game of 10 million people, if they did things for every minority sub-set, there would be thousands of options to choose from in the interface menu.
TLDR: Don't click the statistics tab if you don't wanna see it.

Cross-Realm mail has been in the works for a while, and I am sure we will see it someday.
Cross-Realm AH will probably never happen, at least not until (if or when) server populations drop to a point where it becomes necessary to keep the economy operational. I would guess that even then, they would combine servers, but combining the AH could be another option along with CRZ to somewhat achieve the same results.
"Turn-coats", as you called it, has almost no chance of ever happening. It would be a logistical nightmare, it does not fit any current lore, and would upset the game so badly, that I just cannot see it ever happening.

Yeah...but it would be SO much fun- lol.
EDIT: I also can't imagine there are enough people out there who even have a preference of not having the stats tracked- never mind are actually bothered by it- that there would be any need to change the current system. Right now, people who want to see their stats check them, those who don't care don't look. There's no way to link them like achievements, and I can't imagine that a guild asks for them. They're quite easy to ignore. I don't know that enough people are OCD enough to be annoyed at their mere existence to make a change like this worth doing.
I agree that people can play in whatever quirky ways they like, but it's going to be a hard sell to ask the game designers to spend resources to change things in a game of 10 million players that maybe a total of 20 people care about. If 100 people worldwide are worried about accidental critter kills, and 1 million players are upset about a balance issue in PvP, or inconsistencies in tab-targeting selection, or the options they have for transmog, then it's much smarter to direct those resources where they'll affect things a significant portion of the community want to have changed.

Followed from Reddit.
I think you offer some interesting alterations that might make old Horde players like myself consider re-entering.
Holy wow someone actually came ;o
I wish AV was changed at least in some way as I envisioned, though I'd probably change some things about the original suggestion. Also I'm still incredibly mindblown at how many of these suggestions Blizzard put in. Not sure why I didn't throw this on the official forum.
