Proud of it does not mean that you won't ever choose to have sex, but that you are not having sex at this point in your life by choice. I haven't ever felt like I was exposed to a situation where I had the opportunity to have sex, so I don't know what I would have done in that scenario. I don't really feel like I have had a legitimate chance to decide.
Same here, tbh.

The results so far are encouraging. NO UNCHASTE HEATHENS YET!
Aren't you an unchaste heathen, Mr. unmarried-and-not-a-virgin?
Misses a "virgin (and I don't really care)" option.
I'd like to see this option edited in. It's reasonable to be generally indifferent to one's virginity status. I know that you've classified 'proud of it' as being 'virgin by choice', but I don't think the phrase that accurately reflects the position that some people take. For example, if you choose to date a woman who doesn't want to have sex before marriage, is that being a virgin by choice? Arguably, maybe, but not really. Does it mean that you don't want to be a virgin? Not really either.

/cast flame resistance aura.
That's a clever one. I'll have to remember it.
To clarify, if I was offered sex by my girlfriend I probably (read: Fo' Sho') say yes, but that doesn't mean I'm particularly ashamed of not being one, or that I 'wish I wasn't a virgin' (which is different imo to wanting sex).

Virginity is being taken as not having had penetrative intercourse.
*Waits for a lesbian to come yell at HsR*
Penetration isn't always with the male sex instrument. There are various other methods and things you can use in a similar fashion.

That's getting finicky though. Then, oral sex counts one way, but not the other?
