Normally I would agree. The helpful threads sticky does contain allot of helpful threads, however I do think that when an exceptional guide (such as this) is created its best to draw as much attention as possible to it.
Even look at alot of the most recent topics on the first page, alot of them could be self-answered if people had just looked in the Helpful Threads. I dont think its working out as well as its intended to (and it really should, but people are dumb).
Very valid point, and I agree - to an extend...
but
I'd much rather teach people where the Helpful Threads are. It have worked for some forums, and I'm sure we can make it work everywhere. It's just reminding, reminding, and keep reminding. Less clutter is always great.
If guides of similar quality can be produced (and maintained) for the other 3 specs then I think they should also be stickied seperatly also.
There
should
only be one guide per spec per class. Some times there's more, but that's most likely because they're so different and offer insight on various seperated topics that keeping them both is the best. By that, the dilemma comes: Which one is the "best"?
Long story short, in the end, the "Helpful Topics" wins out, when there's a large amount of threads. Also, sorry for the slight derail - if it gets more into discussion I might start up a thread to gather a more wide range of feedback - we'll see.(##RESPBREAK##)12##DELIM##Gnub##DELIM##

Just added a completely new section into "additional tips". About tanking cooldowns.

The two posts by Ashelia are "Global" threads, that will appear in every forum. The Forum Rules is hardly a bad one to have there, and the other one will be gone again soon.
Anyway, alright, I'll digest a bit on it, and post something in not too long. Thanks for the feedback - nice discussion, that I will look forward in starting again. Again, sorry for the derail this caused. :)(##RESPBREAK##)12##DELIM##Gnub##DELIM##

Wow, Thror. Your ability with English makes me feel really stupid. You're
very
good with it. If you want to feel better about your English, check out the proofing I did on the self-help protection thread in the Paladin forums. I think Hatman is a native English speaker.
Also, very concise, no words wasted, and well presented. Top notch, and well done.
(Don't miss the point about bleeds and the question about trinkets inside the proofing edits.)

Is
Bedrock Talisman
any good for bears?
I'm wondering if it is ok, if you can't get anything else, or just not worth it.

Armour trinkets tend to suck pretty bad this expansion. Even WotLK armor trinkets had more armor on them before they nerfed them in 4.0.6 or 4.1 (not sure which patch)
@ pelf: concerning the trinkets: take into account that bears aren't cats. Fluid death can be reforged into dodge, essence of the cyclone hc can't. Fluid Death also provides (38*10=) 380 agi versus the 363 Cyclone hc provides ... The same thinking can be more or less applied to Left Eye of Rajh, except it has a massive agi proc, and I have no clue what that averages out to (considering ICD etc.)

Thank you for the effort, pelf. I fixed everything you listed (but there is probably a bunch of I's that I missed, will keep looking for them), except for a few exceptions.
"I do not really think anything i did not mention, or anything in the Resto tree should be touched." (I do not think there is anything I didn't mention, or that there is anything in the Resto tree that should be touched.)
The change you suggest would actually change the meaning i wanted the sentence to have. What i wanted to say is that... the talents that are in the Feral tree and that I did not mention should not be touched (and therefore are mandatory for tanking), along with the ones in the Resto tree. Hm. I do think the wording of the sentance says what i wanted it to say, but perhaps I could have worded it better.
To be honest, I am not quite sure. I do have heroic Cyclone and i have been trying it and such, but you can never get a sufficiently large and clean testing sample within the game, merely by checking recount... AskMrRobot suggests heroic Cyclone as BiS... yet... well, I have never seen any Agility stacking bear wear it, and it is not mentioned in any guides I have read. I think AskMrRobot is the only place where I actually saw it mentioned. It is clear on the first glance that all the stats on it benefit Druid tanking, but i can not really work out its value and compare it to the other trinkets. Thats why I said "probably the best".

Hmm. If you can purchase the Bedrock Talisman, you can also purchase
Fluid Death
. And
Left Eye of Rajh
drops in a 5-man heroic, and therefore is always available.

Ohhh, I see what you wanted. Here's the correction:
I do not really think anything I did not mention, or anything in the Resto tree>
,
< should be touched.
Damn those commas. I wasn't reading that inner bit as an apposative.
@Lookout That's totally true and as you describe it that way, it makes plenty of sense. I should get my Fluid Death out and double up Cyclone and that one from now on. Thanks.

Hey now it's like tradition for your guide to get kicked in the face by the Grammar Nazi (formally referred to as pelf)..
Edit made a different kind of sticky request for this guide for much the same treatment the authors of the other guides received when they briefly stickied then unsticked each of the guides to give us all
Noteworthy Thread
. The work very much deserves it. Though now see that he received the achieve 12 hours before this post
Also I think the "Helpful Druid Topics" sticky should be renamed to "Swear to whatever you find holy or not that your info is located here"

It should be.
H Cyclone > Fluid > Tia's > Norm Cyclone > Riddle > Eye
The last few might be a bit out of order, but the first three are correct.
No. Fluid Death is better than Essence of the Cyclone hc. At least for bears. Scroll up if you wanna know why, I already explained it. The difference is marginal, but it's there.
