You're not a sociopath, but you're very prone to antisocial behavior.
Other people's opinions matter little to you. You live your own fringe life - for better or worse.
I still don't see why it should bother anyone.
Would you go out of your way to do it, simply because it does? If not, then that's the difference between you and the person who was arrested.
The fact is that, even if
you
don't understand it, actions like that can and will upset people. Not understanding it would probably just be considered a lack of empathy; not understanding it, and then indulging in it because it hurts other people and doesn't hurt you, is sociopathic behavior.

And now we see why :) Thank you for proving my point.

You are 20% sociopath!
You're empathetic, loyal, and introspective.
In other words, there's no way you're a sociopath... but you can spot one pretty easily!
... I would have said I was higher than that? :/

Nope. Sorry, it's a highly accurate online blog test! Definitely a clear indicator that you're not a sociopath. ;)

Oh totally- I think that this is what they use at the top psychiatric institutions world wide :P
But seriously, I think it's a good general indicator of someone's sensitivity level to people's importance and emotions.
EDIT: Or it is, if you answer everything honestly- lol.

Why the hell do people seem to be aspiring to be sociopaths? o.0

Personally? I troll to get a humorous reaction in order to get a cheap laugh.
The single example of what he posted was "lolz, fell asleep on the tracks."
That seems like something I might post, because it sounds funny.

I dont believe in "top psychiatric institutions" because after a while, it becomes a money scam. Please prove me wrong.

It was a joke, Face. Xara was teasing about how not-serious an online blog test is in terms of determining mental state, and I was agreeing that it wasn't anything too scientific.

I'd say everyone revels in a bit of schadenfreude occasionally. Cracking jokes about dead people that you don't know, to the dead person's relatives, so that you can laugh at how it hurts them? Yeah, no - that goes outside the normal realm of laughing at another person's suffering.
I'm fairly sure that's actually psychopathic behaviour. Sociopathy is destruction through lack of understanding or empathy, rather than wilful destruction. Psychopaths are Chaotic Evil to Sociopaths' Chaotic Neutral.
Okay, so then based on what he's said, Atik would be a sociopath, and the guy in the news article would be a psychopath... <.<
I've been too long out of psych classes.

I was under the impression that it was more of a nurture vs. nature thing. That the destructive behaviors of a psychopath were linked to biological or chemical problems, whereas a sociopath was created by environmental factors that affected normal personality and moral center development. I didn't think that there was much of a difference in the resulting behaviors- just that one was characterized as a mental illness with medical causes, and the other as a personality disorder.

I'm not laughing at their suffering. I'm laughing at their reaction to my jokes...

Their reaction is one of suffering.

And their reaction to your jokes is what precisely? That's right, suffering.
