lol i ran into something similar except instead of a high lvl random it was like throne of tides to help my friend get a few runs in. They saw i was lvl 85 and decked out and for some odd reason they still did CC on every pull. i was like wtf why couldn't i get people to cc when it was actually difficult....

I'm a mage, friend is a resto shammy as heals. We do LFG together almost daily and we've had some really, really funny stuff happen to us, but there was this one run...
H Stonecore. Last boss. After a problematic run (not horrible, more hilarious, but it took twice as long as it should've and more stuff than I can even remember happened) we finally get to the last boss and down the adds before her. Explain the fight to the tank. It's all going okay until the rocks, which the tank eats one of and dies.
Now, because of the good humor of the group this isn't even a headache or anything. The past hour has been so hilarious that nobody gets mad. In fact, everyone laughs, even harder because the tank yelled "OH$%^&" as the rock landed on him. Heals and hunter were laughing so hard, in fact, that they also did not move out of the way of another boulder coming to break their faces. Other dps dies, I pop invisibility , Mass Rez used too recently so it's a run back in.
During that run back in, I'm sitting in Ozruk's little tunnel waiting and watch as the trash we didn't kill in the preceding area gets pulled by first the tank, who gets killed; then the hunter, who also dies; then by the other dps, who just keeps running all the way to the last boss area before they get killed.
Needless to say, I'm laughing through all of this and although I got out of the way of the mobs running through, and although I could've sworn that they wouldn't aggro on me if they were going back to their spawn spots... well, I got eated up by them as well.
Ultimately Stonecore has seen some of the funniest fails in my WoW career.
My friend has since downloaded recording software for our runs, but we've yet to see anything that even comes close.

So yesterday I was doing the Noblegarden achievements on my priest and one of my guildies begged me to run some dungeons with them, we had enough for the guild credit, so we all jumped in and started to go. After the 7th instance someone asked me where I got those cool Easter weapons, I popped open my inventory and realized I was holding flowers and the basket.
No one even got close to dieing on the HoT Heroics that we ran. Disco Priest FTW!

he's only 11 years old
My nephiew, Nathan, started playing MMOs when he was four. His first game was City of Heroes (with me as the tank) and he would usually heal us pretty dang well. We would often run through 5-6 instances and from time to time we would do the equivilant of a Raid.
One time my sister decided to join us on her fire blaster (sorry, still on CoH, but the point is valid) and Nate was on his healer, I was on my tank, and we decided to run a fairly complicated Raid that took us about four hours. When we were done we had about half the team comment that the healer was awesome since he didn't let anyone die throughout the entire raid. It was at this time that my sister chimed in saying "Thanks! He's only six, but he's learning pretty quick!"
Kids can play, it's when the kids surpass the elites that you have to giggle a little bit.

It is indeed a very funny dungeon. Throughout 4.0-4.2 you'd often see people zone into a "random" dungeon and instantly leave the group as soon as they realised it was Stonecore.
Yeah, that's been me a few times. I'd always at least explain, though. I'd explicitly profess my loathing of the instance. In caps. And end with </ragequit> before dropping group. Half of it was just playing it up for laughs, but... when Ozruk was actually the thing I saw wipes on most often (meaning, before Firelands), I couldn't stand to do it anymore.
The trash room before Ozruk is hilarious as well, it's like one big trap. Theres always someone who doesnt see a scout or goes too close to another pack, love that room. ^_^
I know, it's always good for either a laugh or an exasperated groan, depending on your mood and the context. It's simultaneously one of my most hated and loved parts of Cata dungeons.

How about an enhance shammy entering a random as heals...One of the funniest things I've ever seen.
I've done that before out of boredom, even threw on a set of lvl 17 vendor leather and to my suprise, no one commented on how i'd throw out like 3 healing waves and go OOM lol

Got into HC-Stonecore, group consisting of
Tank: Blood DK
Healer: Disc; I think; Priest
DPS1: BM Hunter; Me
DPS2: Lock that I never checked spec of
DPS3: Rogue, also didn't check spec
Now, First three pulls, rogue dies. Every pull. We simply tell him, get out of bad, ranged aren't dying. He flames healer. Then, after the Dragon boss, sorry forgot her name, he ninjapulls and leaves. We lived, luckily, and another rogue joins. This manages not to stand in bad. After endboss, I check recount and find out why the dungeon goes so slow...
1. Síndal, 6'782 DPS, 56% <-- This is me
2. DK Tank, 4'423 DPS, 32%
3. Priest Healer, 2'432 DPS, 8%
4. Lock, 1'380 DPS, 5 %
5. Rogue, 989 DPS, 3 %
The DPS is on only boss fight, the percent is how much damage done in all dungeon... Since I'm ungemmed and unreforged, and only have enchants on my gloves and boots... This should not be happening.
Totally made me remember SoR and laugh my ass off the chair.

You should file this all under this the
Worst Performance you've ever seen in a Heroic Dungeons & Raids
thread.
My Frost/Fire Mage in BC use to pull around what you've posted for that Rogue in raids.
Yes, I was going to. Thing was, it was the funniest thing I've ever seen as well.

ahh this is very true.
I started playing games (starcraft) when i was like 4 years old too and been playing since. I am in a mature guild so most of he people i play with either adults or late teens, so i don't run into many kids anymore. Unfortunately the couple kids on our server are just bad kids.... they cant seem to understand how many things in the game work and then complain to others about being bad, when they themselves are usually he worst healer or dps.....
Reading your post however reminded me of a video i saw once.
The amazing five year old raid leader
. It is so awesome seeing kids leading raids like that. i can just imagine the 20 something or 30 something guy getting pugged into that raid and going like WTF?
On topic: I have not had too many funny occasions in dungeons. just the usual horrible player raging at everyone else. more specifically. i was leveling my boomkin in throne of the tides and i use my typhoon every once in a while on big aoe trash pulls. the tanks proceeds to go crazy on me because 1) i didnt have it glyphed and 2) berating me for using it for hurrican which he tells me does so much more damage. Frankly i told him i dont care about the damage, this toons wont be raiding (just a farmer tauren druid). He left soon after.
One time though i grabbed my dk and wanted to farm the drake mounts in stonecore and vortex. I was in stonecore had a couple people from my guild. Normal as well. killed the drake (no mount /sadface) went down to the next room with like 20 groups of anywhere from 5-10 mobs... ya decided to pull half the room...... it sucked..... an ogre rammed me interupting my army right after i started it. most everyone started dying but i did survive quite a while before i died. I as well as my guild in vent were laughing our asses off from the hilariousness of the pull. Pulled normally the next time lol. combined 2 or 3 groups but not the 5 or 6 i did before + the pulls from the scouts.

yesterday (this is me being the newb, and being laughed at btw, but we gotta learn to laugh at ourselfs too!)
I cant even remember the dungeon, but it was a herioc cata dungeon, me and two other guildies and randoms, and I got killed and left behind (trying to go through portal, everyone else got through but I had accidenly pulled and am only dps, didnt have a chance to type HELP ME! in chat lol) anyways for some reason i had to go to grave yard (cant remember why) now I am new, im not terrible but i am not amazing either, just average, but I also had not done that dungeon before as I had only just started doing heriocs and lfd i always ended up in the same 4 dungeons.....and for the life of me i couldnt find the dungeons entrance again!, I was running around for ages when I did find an entrance id get a message saying "your body isnt in this instance", I honestly couldnt find my way, my guild mates saw funny side of it, but randomer started raging that I was messing around and to kick me, I tried to explain that I was legitamatly lost, in the end we just agreed that I would sit this one out, I still havent worked out where the entrance is lol!.
