2 min mage for raiding? // FFB gear dependant?

My spell rotation will be:
Scorch x 2 (I have glyph of improved scorch on)
Fireball (glyph of fireball)
pop 2 min mage ap pom pyro when they're up. (glyph of ap)

I know I'm missing out on firepower but I get 6% increased damage from spell Impact since my main spell is fireball and around 140 spell damage from mind mastery.

any ideas?

Another thing I noticed is I'm behind on dps meters compared to other classes even though we have similar gear levels. I tried many spec combinations but the result is still the same.

I also have a comment about FFB I hear its gear dependant. I'm not THAT geared but I noticed fireball is doing more damage when I spec for it than when I speccd for FFB (Deep fire / frost)

Arcane is bad if you're using anything other than Arcane spells. If you wanna use Fire spells, spec deep fire. :)
