The issue with Gul'dan is that I don't think there is anything left of him now, after Illidan absorbed the power of the Skull of Gul'dan all those years ago to come back...since the demons in the tomb tore his body apart.

All that was left of Gul'dan was an echo in the tomb of Sargeras; his soul is long since gone.

Perhaps he means bring them back as in actually do something with them outside of the comics.
Yeah, they're pretty much dead in WoW because they're never actually in the game, would be awesome to see them brought into it though!

Did Hogger die? If so, him. If not, well, give him another life. He needs it.

We used to chop off his claw, he seems perfectly healthy now. Would not be the first time his death is retconned.

Of course tons of people would say Illidan. *rolls eyes* I'm convinced it'll happen anyways.
I really want Grom Hellscream to come back. If not in body, in spirit. And he'd knock some sense into his son!
Also Medivh, and his mother should make an appearance at some point! Again, not actually physically alive, though. I think it'd be asking for too much to get these characters brought back permanently.

None. Stop cheapening death and actually start introducing and developing new characters. This whole "death is a slap on the wrist" gig they got going on is really getting on my nerves. If someone dies, IT SHOULD STAY DEAD. No matter if it was a hated villain or a loved hero.
seriously this cheapens a lot any posible dramatic outcome of a death.
I actually cried the first time I saw Krillin die on Dragon Ball. However, by the end of Dragon Ball Z, when krillin got killed by the 50th time, I just shrugged it off, rolled my eyes and just said "meh, he's gonna be wished back to life as usual, nothing to see here"
Even chi-chi, goku's wife got killed in a rather abrupt and sudden way, and it wasn't given any dramatic effect, nor the actual impact such a death would warrant because by that point both the audience and the characters themselves were all like "we can bring her back with the dragon balls"
Come on, bringing characters back should either NOT be done, or be done VERY CAREFULLY and VERY RARELY. If you keep overdoing it all you achieve is cheapen the story and strip away any drama from it.
/peace.
