KJ was never killed, just cast out though....but we'll probably see him again when the final Legion expansion rolls around.

im guessing that kil´jaeden, archimonde and manoroth may come back in a burning legion expansion with sargeras but for now i hope that i may see kael`Thas sunstrider and have some caverns of time to WC3 battels

Archimonde and Mannoroth are deader than dead. No way in hell they come back. As it is Mannoroth's skull is sitting on Garrosh's throne in orgrimmar, and Archimonde took a spirit bomb to the face.

Aye, Eredar and Annihilans(Pitlords), don't have Dreadlord immunity to death after all.

But, as TvTropes puts it, absolutely NOTHING, not ever Killed off for Real or Deader than Dead, can stop a character from coming back if the creators want them to.

Illidan, there was no evil or good in that feud. It was only a matter of perspective.

Well other then him being a self-centered, narcissistic, power-hungry, lusting after his brother's wife, and just plain being coo-coo for coca puffs.....

Lots of selfish evil done in the name of making himself look good(betraying the Rebellion, working for KJ, just plain being a ^&*!@#).

right, because kidnapping the mag'har orcs and stuffing them in the blood furnace to have some cannon fodder is tottaly cool.

None really, just ugh.
First off, the whole "bringing back from the dead" has to be the most over used cop out in story telling. There's a reason why the character died, there's no reason to bring them back.
Second, Metzen says "provided the story is good". Games have a notoriously bad track record when it comes to story telling, and MMO's are some of the worst.
So, bad cop out + bad story = good idea? I don't think so.

Since when?
Halo's storyline is better than any book or movie I've ever read/seen... and the same can be said for Starcraft and many others. (Although, recently the whole "One man army chosen one" BS has started to get out of control... but books and movies have been on the slope a LOT longer.)
