Gorehowl
was already an epic drop.
Which got removed I believe. Come on you know I mean a lvl 90 version on said axe......
Nope, it is still in the game. I even got it a few months ago while running Kara.

I don't think you could presume that Gorehowl would necessarily be a drop though just as Frostmourne was not a drop off of the lk. There is also no way it will be a legendary since we just had a legendary 2h axe as the final legendary two exp ago. Plus, it seems to me that Bliz is getting away from putting lore items in the game in favor of making players craft their own legendaries with long quest chains.
Yeah. The problem with dropping lore items is because they become lost to the lore once they do drop. If they want to use them later, then they have to retcon them out of player hands (at least lore-wise), which they have been willing to do in the past, but it's not an ideal situation.
If Gorehowl drops the fate of the legendary weapon that slew both a demigod and demons will be the highly unsatisfying "was picked up by a nameless soldier who fought in the Siege of Orgrimmar". One better solution would be for Thrall to decide that whatever good the ax might of done in the past, it has been stained with the blood of too many innocents and must be broken as final proof that the old ways of the Horde are in the past and do not belong in the present.
That isn't to say there won't be a Legendary of course, just not Gorehowl.

It did, but as far as any official lore is concerned the Prince never had Gorehowl nor ever dropped it, Blizzard essentially retconned it straight out of players hands (as they did with the Ashbringer). It can be done, but it's not an ideal solution.
I don't see Blizzard making Gorehowl a drop knowing full well that they'll just have to retcon it out of player's hands all over again sometime down the road. That and the fact Blizzard prefers forging unique Legendaries through lengthy quest chains instead of handing them out in what amounts to a lottery.
You'll note that not a single major lore item has been a usable item since Patch 2.1, when Illidan dropped both his Warglaves and the Skull of Gul'dan. Everything since has been items introduced specifically for the raid they are obtained in.

Just to preface this, with the reveal of the Siege of Orgrimmar I had a thought. For those who read below, it is not meant to be RP. It is simply something that NEEDS to happen during the encounter Some players may not get the significance of this if they haven't played a troll as an alt or have no interest in the storyline of Hellscream's succession of Thrall as Warchief
Orgrimmar is in flames.
Explosions detonate above, and the air is filled with the screams of orcs and men.
The throne room is quiet, as the heroes step forward to face Garrosh Hellscream.
He fights fiercely, facing wave after wave of soldiers as the heroes of the Horde and Alliance work to bring him down.
As he nears defeat, Garrosh screams, spinning his axe and knocking the raid back.
"
FOOLS!
" he laughs, "
you think to challenge me? Son of -
"
A single arrow flits from the darkness and strikes Garrosh in the chest. He stumbles, confused and shocked.
He staggers, and drops to his knees.
Vol'jin emerges from the shadows, and quietly chuckles two words...
Told'ja mahn.

I have seen it no where stated that Garrosh dies while being the final boss. I strongly think that blizzard will make Garrosh like his father, he will be corrupted (probably by the creatures that feed off evil) and when you win, you release him. The creatures probably had fed off everyone and everything and thus we were all corrupted (kinda like the blood corruption). Garrosh then slays the main creature releasing us all and dies.
That or I hope Garrosh and Thrall both die and Rexxar steps up to the plate, if Thrall becomes our leader then Sylvanas will do what she had planned in Silverpine forst in the quest where Garrosh called her a "female dog" word. If Sylvanas is given such a power, she would act as the new lich king. Probably leaving us to release Bolvar to combat her with alliance and horde forces.
I strongly think Garrosh will either still live after MoP or will die as a hero like his father. If you need to understand why, do the Nagrand questline to bring Thrall there to show Garrosh that his father was a hero and its influence on him. I don't see him going back on that. He also killed his own general in stonetalon mountains because the general killed children. More things are pointing at Garrosh being a good guy than a bad guy. I just haven't seen the Grimtotem yet after Carnie's death - obviously they would have a role in it - yet I haven't seen any link with it.

As a troll, I actually wish I could just save at my starting Area with Vol'jin and not stay in Orgrimmar with Garrosh.
But it's sad really that blizzard kinda "force" us to chill in org since everything is there.
We know who is the "final boss", but I really hope the story about it will be epic. It will surely be good. I actually prefer a boss like this than someone like the LK or Deathwing, where we are the "hero" that save the "world" but there's always someone else bigger and stronger to take the bad-guy place in the end.
Fighting Garrosh is more meaningful to me than killing a huge dragon.

Don't 'have' to stay there, since it's only a short zeppelin ride or flight path mount to Orgrimmar if you need the portals. So you can chill on the Echo Isles if you really wanted to while running LFD or LFR.

I confess I relish the thought of Garrosh going down ignominiously. His single-minded passion for destruction is embarrassing for those of us who see the nobler side of the Horde. His personna reminds me of a president who led the US down a brash and ignoble course not too long ago that cost us dearly in lives and resources.
I'm ready to see someone of the stature of Vol'jin or Aggra lead the Horde. But that's just me.

Aggra lead the HordeYou want someone who rages even more then Garrosh, with a sarcastic tongue who can't control it, to rule instead?

What Destruction has Garrosh brought? He expanded Horde's control of Ashenvale and stonetalon- areas that have been in conflict forever and is part of Kalimdor, which is viewed as a horde zone. The real destruction has been caused by Sylvanas and the forsaken from what i have seen. They are also more of the souce of the conflicts than Garrosh is - senslessly attacking the worgen and are expanding into the eastern kingdom areas that have long been held by the alliance.

To be fair, Garrosh ordered Sylvanas to take Gilneas for it's 'natural port'....but he didn't tell her to wipe them all out.

It just goes to show that Mists is going to be a "filler" expansion, essentially a gap to something much larger Blizzard will be putting out subsequent to it. I predict an Emerald Dream expansion as there are already two Emerald Dream zones within the game files, been there myself.
No, a Dream Expansion would be a filler...since the Dream is just Azeroth without the Sundering happening and none of the sentient species running around(except for Greens and those few Druids).

How would either of you even define a "filler expansion" anyways?
The only way I can think of is if the expansion had a wholly standalone story where no existing plotlines were resolved or noticeably furthered, and all new plotlines continued beyond the scope of the expansion. This is definitely not MoP, since both the Horde/Alliance conflict and the Zandalari storyline will be greatly expanded upon, and could be resolved. And who knows what implications the events of MoP will have in the future.
And I'm not sure how you can claim an Emerald Dream expansion would be filler based on the current description of the place. Sure it might not seem like there's a lot there right now, but who knows what changes the Dream will undergo with the diminished powers of the Green Dragonflight. The expansion could be set in zones that were destroyed in the Sundering, so they'd be completely unique. With the weakened barriers between Azeroth and the Dream, who knows what manner of creatures have found their way in since the Cataclysm?

It would be interesting, but didn't the Old Gods have a hand in causing the Emerald Nightmare, which relates to the issues involving the Emerald Dream? And didn't we just beat the snot out of their forces? They'll be licking their wounds for a bit. We'll see, though.

Weren't really that many zones; since where we are now is the world after the Well blew up. Most that would be are areas that were burned in War of the Ancients; such as the Barrens and the like heh. And probably not as many as you'd think, since after the Nightmare War, the Greens were policing/cleaning up there.

N'Zoth, who yeah we partially dealt with; the big one was Xavius, who was destroyed in Stormrage.
