(Apologies ahead of time if this is a duplicate thread. I DID scan through the first few pages of the forum and didn't see anything similar posted.)
So CM told us that Garrosh is the final boss of MoP. What do you think will be his ultimate fate?
Execution? Imprisonment? Exile? Redemption? Something else?
Or does he simply fall over dead after the raid reduces his HP to 0?
I'd love to hear everyone's theories.

I'm hoping for Redemption, but Blizzard will probably go with the easy way and just kill him.

I hope he at least gets to kill Aggra.

Nah, pregnant mothers have an immunity in most fantasy works.

Have her die in childbirth. From a broken heart. Because of a secret crush on Garrosh.

I kinda hope he dosnt get redemed. It was kinda cheesey when it happened with Arthas, and the Overmind was just ridiculas in SC2. Then again they were both real monsters, Garrosh is thus far just an orc. Ironically Garrosh has thus far shown almost no redemable actions, the one time he came close it involved him throwing a guy off a cliff lol. But as far as his own actions go I dont think he has any real regrets and feels somehow justified in everything hes done.
I wouldnt mind some kind of redemption for him, but they would have to lay the groundwork for it during MOP, caus atm its not there. As far as how he dies I think Varians going to kill him, maybe Thrall on Horde side. With the help of those handy "Adventurers" of course.

What I want to know is, if we do get 'our Warchief back', will there actually be any sort of repercussions to what Sylvanas has been up to?

He should die, anything else and I wouldn't feel satisfied.

I just thought of something....
Don't the Dragonmaw Orcs from Twilight Highlands, like, love Garrosh?

Still a cop out and bad writing, after all the stuff in Cata to try to start him on the road to redemption.

On one hand, yes.
On the other hand, you would deny Vol'jin his moment of glory?
As I really doubt he's even going to be there...yes actually; I'd rather see something that isn't a cop out for once in regards to the last boss(Deathwing was a good start though, since he was still insane when he died).

Considering this is speculation to the utmost... but honestly, has a raid boss ever been "redeemed" (Arthas doesn't count because he wasn't - only thing that was closed was the wound)
Which is why it would be nice change of pace; actually have one of these 'monsters'(and unless Garrosh heads into an orphanage and slaughters them all I'm not gonna see him as one) come back from their darkness. I mean look at Doomhammer(even pre-retcon), everything he ever did was for the good of his people, no matter how many 'dark' actions he had to take...and other then dying to a spear in the back, he had his redemption. Let's see more like that damn it! Stop with just the 'kill them cause they are ebil!' nonsense.

I see one of two possibilities.
1: Garrosh is killed by Vol'jin, who proceeds to laugh mockingly and say "Told ya mon", or 2: Somehow, he is redeemed.

Why is it a cop out if in the end we kill Garrosh as he just couldn't be redeemed?

It's a cop out because that meant there was absolutely no point at all to the quests in Cata showing that Garrosh had been learning.
