What will happen to Garrosh?

And the thought of a faction capital being the setting for the endgame raid still weirds me out as well. It's different, admittedly, but I don't like it.
Battle for the Undercity waves it's hand at you.

That wasn't an end game raid. It was a one-shot quest that doesn't even exist anymore.

For the Alliance.
Again, not an end game raid.

It was still an invasion of a Horde city and killing two high ranking Forsaken faction members who had gone bad.

Yea but you kill every Horde Leader, including the Warchief.

Adamsm:
The Battle for the Undercity was just a temporary event to drive the Forsaken's story forward a little bit. And yes, I didn't particularly care for it, either -- how it just tossed away a potentially awesome character in Varimathras, but that's neither here nor there. After you've completed it, your toon could never do it again unless you were helping someone else. The event didn't even persist for
too
terribly long before they got rid of it. The Siege of Orgrimmar, on the other hand, is a full-blown raid with trash and bosses that drop purples and the whole shebang. Garrosh
is
getting deposed, if not outright killed. Even after it becomes old content, if they ever decide to remove it, it will still be there for a long, long time. Hell, we can
still
bash through good 'ol C'thun.
Levarus:
That's simply part of open world PvP -- something for people to do when they're bored. Raiding a capital city and downing its leader never becomes canon lore. Again, in the Siege of Orgrimmar, Garrosh
is
getting deposed, if not outright killed, and we bash through Orgrimmar to do it.
Point is, I just think they're mishandling the entire thing. Garrosh had the potential to become a
great
character one way or another, and now we're back to square one with Thrall, who was turned into Green Jesus. I mean, it just leaves me to wonder...what was the point of Garrosh to begin with?

I agree with you in regards to screwing with Garrosh.
Just raised the point that a city was invaded for a large portion of an expansion; BftU was there from the beginning after all, right up till the Cata nerf.

Killing the leader =/= killing the faction, he could take the city and then be immediately forced to retreat by the advancing horde army, dunno, but the thing is Garrosh isn't the Horde anymore at this point, he's his own Faction.

Holy crud. I just found a piece by an artist named "TyrranaxH" portraying a very dark fate for Garrosh after he's defeated. Can't link it without getting in trouble, and if you find it, you'll see why. o_o
Man, people
really
hate that orc...

They shouldn't hate Garrosh though, they should be hating everyone involved in writing the character.

People talking about his redemption and him learning through Cata forget one thing - MoP. Assuming the last boss comes way after release, which it will, questing through MoP might show Garrosh turn into a right knob.
I'm hoping for an epic death, for a change. Like, movie epic. I wanna see Baine get his revenge if he hasn't already (I'm only just reading the Shattering, my first ever lore book!) too.
